i stayed up till the sun came back up Jasper was breathing better

"ok ok I'll be right back just be careful" i said running of i found the lobster i had killed laying by the edge of the water i sniffed at it didn't smell rotted and no bugs on it i had eaten sketchier food i grabbed what i could bringing it back to Jasper

"i hope so" i said snapping some branches making a fire pit using my claws to light the wood ablaze cracking the Pokémon's shell open sticking the meat around the fire with thin sticks "man i hope that will work" i said as we watched the flames flicker "you feeling ok Jas"
"No but I'm holding out" she said closing her eyes
"wanna lay in my lap" i asked sweetly Jasper smiled crawling in to my arms laying down snuggling up as we waited soon the meat looked nice i took the pieces of meat laying them on my cape jasper grabbed a piece and began to chew on it
"This is really yummy" she cheered
"Really" i asked taking a piece gulping it down it was so yummy it tasted like buttery meat Jasper and I chowed down eating every bit of it
"Zel your good at cooking" Jasper cheered
"mom taught me a lot" i said then looked down at her dark rings around her eyes "I'm sorry i told you i would never let you get hurt again but..."
"Zellie" Jasper said frowning hugging me "member when you said you would cry on me when i was ready" she asked
"Yeah of course" i said
"I think I'm ready" She said i held her closer licking her soft hair
"Yeah alright just try to stay safe i don't know what i would do if i lost you" i said
"I'll be ok i have you the strongest big brother ever" Jasper cheered "i mean you beat up the king for me you set his whole castle on fire" Jasper said making crazy hand movements
"Ok ok relax don't move to much you need to heal" i said pushing her down softly with my claws she nodded
"ok I'll sleep" she said later that day i unwrapped her wound it looked to be healing luckily i put more herb juice on her rewrapping it maybe it was a good thing i got hurt so much so i would know how to treat my sister's wounds she laid back down comfortably i was worried about staying in the same place so long the king would probably still have people after us i mean we burned the castle up bad

"yeah i think don't run" she said climbing on my back holding on to my mane as i moved about till i got to a huge body of water uncross able i groaned another one i was starting to get annoyed where was Sinnoh Jasper began to snore she was sleeping i felt a bit better i walked around more carefully so jasper wouldn't fall but still nothing we hunkered down near the out skirts of a village Jasper curled up under my arms i softly used my claw to scratch her head she smiled with a tiny chuckle she grabbed my claw putting it in her mouth suckling on it as we went to sleep we continued on our journey to find Sinnoh but we kept finding endless water even the few people we got to talk to had no idea where to find Sinnoh it must have been a year or so since mom and dad's death at that point. Jasper and I had pretty much given up on finding Sinnoh we just wandered on an endless trek to nowhere when one day our luck changed we were wondering around when a pokemon jumped out at us it had brown fur with a leaf like coat and long gray horns i ran at it too attack to protect Jasper but it jumped out of the way i kept trying but the pokemon was smart when i noticed a scarf on the pokemon i stopped attacking and the pokemon just stared at us
"d-do you have a human family" i asked the pokemon turned around then looked back at us beckoning Jasper climbed on my back and we followed the pokemon till a man on a boat came in to view
"Alistair you find something with flames" the man asked then saw us "oh my another pokemon" he said Jasper got off my back "and one with a human"
"w- Who are you" Jasper softly asked hiding behind my front leg
"Names Samon" the man said "and this is Alistair" he said petting the Pokémon's head
"Need something" i asked it was still hard to talk to other humans
"Oh my you can talk" Samon said
"He can talk human a bit but i can understand his poke speak" Jasper said
"Incredible" Samon said touching my face
"So what did you need Alistair seemed to want us here" Jasper asked
"Well were fixing this boat to get of this island" Samon said
"Island" Jasper asked
"What were on a land mass surrounded by the ocean" Samon said
"That explains why we can't find Sinnoh" Jasper said
"Sinnoh how did you hear about that" Samon asked
"A nice lady told me" Jasper said the man took out a big thing of paper all rolled up he unrolled it, it showed the world "what" jasper asked
"It's a map a man named Tony got ship wreaked here i saved him and he told me about the rest of the world but he was taken by the king he gave me his only pokemon Alistair here his loyal Gogoat" Samon said
"Gogoat i thought she was Alistair" Jasper said
"That's her name but her species is a Gogoat" Samon said
"So like how I'm Jasper but I'm a human" Jasper asked
"Yeah exactly" Samon said
"So Zel what are you" Jasper asked i looked around
"i-i don't know" i said then scratched my head
"Oh that's ok i know what you are you're Zelgadis and you're a brother" Jasper said i chuckled

"Mamma adopted him before i was born" Jasper said Samon patted my head
"Back to what i was saying this land mass here it Sinnoh" he said pointing to a green patch on the map "and we're over here" he said showing a marker outline
"Why are we not green" Jasper asked
"it's never been mapped i guess this is where Tony thinks we are" Samon said "I'm trying to fix Tony's ship Alistair Vine whips have been keeping the ship together but we need to weld it but Alistair can't use fire moves"
"Zel can shoot fire from his claws" Jasper said
"From his claws that seems dangerous" Samon said Alistair ran in to the boat bringing a tube out "huh the disks" Samon asked taking them

"TM's Tony owned them" Samon said Jasper took them in her hands" technical machines apparently they teach pokemon different moves but none work on Alistair" Jasper looked through the disks
"Flamethrower" she said holding a red disk
"Yeah that's the one i wanted to use" Samon said jasper pointed the disk towards me
"Wanna try" she asked i put my head to it and i knew how to use a new move i faced up blasting fire from my mouth "yeah you did it" Jasper cheered
"yes we can do this" Samon cheered we spent the rest of the day welding the boat together night fell as all four of us gathered by a fire "oh man i never thought i would get this done" Samon cheered after drinking some of his booze "Alistair you really found some winners" he said petting her she let out a joyous cry
"So you'll take us to Sinnoh" Jasper asked
"Yeah of course least i can do for your help" Samon said "hell you can keep them TM's too"
"Can you ship" i asked Samon looked at me and hiccupped
"nah i cant but Tony said Alistair can she'll help" Samon said i nodded Samon slowly blinked then chuckled "want some" he asked offering his flask to us Jasper took it taking a swig then coughed
"ew" she said i chuckled as Samon took the flask back capping it
"yeah that's enough i should save some when for when we get to the new lands" he said as we all went to sleep the next morning we did some last minute fixes before we pushed the boat in to the water it floated perfectly and we all jumped on and Samon took a key off of Alistair starting the boat as we started to move it was amazing we were so fast "woo" Samon cheered "Ok Alistair I'll steer tell me the way to Sinnoh" Alistair looked at the map then a compose and pointed in the correct directions
"We're really leaving" Jasper said looking at our old land as it faded from view
"Yeah" i said "goodbye mom and dad"
"Yeah goodbye" Jasper said i led her to the front of the boat
"Let's look towards the future" i said
