"Come out with me" she said and we followed to a wide open area and Cynthia took out her black pokeball "were going to have a one on one match" she said throwing the ball and out came Garchomp
"Ok Zel lets do this" Jasper yelled i jumped in front of her "Quick use iron head" jasper yelled i charged at Garchomp but before i knew it she had moved grabbing me in a headlock
"Dragon rush" Cynthia yelled and Garchomp hit me hard smashing me across the field
"Zel you ok" Jasper yelled
"I'm fine" i growled
"um um multi attack" Jasper yelled she was so unsure but i did as told slashing Garchomp i hit but Garchomp didn't seem to damaged
"Not a bad move but a bad type match up" Cynthia said "Garchomp Dragon Rush again" she yelled and Garchomp shot at me i tried to dodge but i was still grazed
"no no" Jasper whimpered "oh um Tri attack" she yelled she was so stressed poor thing i did as commanded letting out a try attack hitting Garchomp this time i got a reaction as small flames flared up on Garchomp skin
"You burnt her not bad" Cynthia said "Garchomp lets finish this earthquake" she yelled Garchomp smashed the ground and it rumbled beneath me rocks slashed up hitting me i flew back a bit falling i struggled to get up but couldn't "your pokemon is unable to fight" Cynthia said Jasper ran to me hugging my head
"You ok" she asked
"Yeah fine but she was so strong" i said Cynthia walked over to us and Jasper held me tighter
"You still can't take him" she cried
"I'm not at least not yet" Cynthia said Jasper looked at her wide eyed "you and him are very in tune even through all your stuttering he listened without a second though most pokemon don't do that but he clearly trusts you even more then you trust yourself" she said "so i have a deal to make with you"
"What" Jasper asked
"in this region we have what's called a pokemon league" Cynthia started "eight gyms scattered across this land after beating them they will award you with a badge collect all 8 and you and you can battle the heart of the league the elite four if you can make it through all that without causing to much havoc then i will have no problem letting you keep that pokemon" Jasper and I looked at each other and nodded
"we'll do it" she cheered Cynthia smiled then walked to me taking out a bottle spraying the substance on my wounds i felt better almost instantly i got up looking at the wounds they were totally gone
"that's a max potions a great pick me up for an injured pokemon although starting out you will only have access to normal potions" Cynthia said before taking a green version of the bottle out using it on Garchomp who cheered and Cynthia pet her
"So where do we go to start the league" Jasper asked
"you can't until you have a trainer permit and trainer card now normally you have to be at least ten to start a journey like this but i think i can pull some strings to get you in early till then you can live with Grandma and me" Cynthia said Jasper nodded "now come inside none of us have eaten yet" she said Jasper and i didn't need to hear anymore
