The tauthren (singular: tauthe) is another of Ennen's sentient species. Herbivores that live in tribes, they grow gardens of vegetables and grains in the more remote plains and forests. Though small in comparison to many of the other sentient species, they're fast, nimble, and more than capable of delivering nasty kicks with those hooves. Their tail is prehensile and is used to help climb when necessary.
Pictured is a tauthe near maturation. Upon maturation, tauthren develop based on the needs of the tribe; if the tribe needs more farmers or caretakers, for example, the tauthe will develop stronger arms and a longer tail. If the tribe needs more defenders or explorers, for example, the tauthe will develop bigger horns and longer legs. This maturation also determines their biological sex.
