"Okay, it'll be a 1 on 1 battle." As it was my second Pokemon Battle, i was nervous. "Me and Rattata can do this!" I thought. We sent out our Pokemon and the intensity begun. I called out a quick attack, which looked like it did some damage on him. He called out bubble, but i successfully dodged! The battle was in my favor, but suddenly my tackle missed and he called out a water gun, which was a direct hit, pushing rattata into a tree. I looked over to find Rattata fainted. "Ha! Thats what you get scrub! C'mon Morgan, no need to stay with this loser." Somehow, she came with him. I decided to walk back to Pallet Town and take a nap. Still, no one was there. A few hours later i woke up and checked the Pokemon Lab for Prof. Oak to give me tips, but he wasn't there! I sent out Rattata and said, with tears dripping down my face, "I don't want you to stay with me. I make you too weak..."
