Because of overwhelmingly positive response to this ridiculous doodle, I figured I'll throw it on the corner as well - a Popplio-based magic circle. I still can't believe my first art related to the Alola starters ended up being of my least favorite of the three - but... yeah.
The inverted triangle on the left mini-circle is the alchemical symbol for water and the symbol on the right mini-circle is actually the alchemical symbol for Mercury (which is seen in alchemy as a catalyst of change - in this particular case symbolizing Popplio's potential for change - with evolution and possibly gaining a new type eventually).
The words in the rim-sections of the outer circle are the names of the Pokémon world regions known to date - Kanto (קאנטו), Johto (ג'וטו), Hoenn (הואן), Sinnoh (סינו), Unova (יונובה) and Kalos (קאלוס), with the letters of Alola (אלולה) scattered within the circle itself. The letters within the smaller circles, counter clockwise, read "פופליו" - which is just how "Popplio" is written in Hebrew. The neck frill was originally composed of intersecting pentagrams with the letters “כלב ים” (seal, literally ‘sea dog’) written on their points. However, the letter כ got eaten by the Popplio head. Oddly enough, the letters now read “לב ים” - which actually means ‘heart of the sea’ - which is appropriate for a marine creature, I guess!
So there you have it. Full on nerdsplanation, proving once more that I put too much thought into atrocious puns.

Let us all gather around to start the ritual of summoning the Popplio...

@StellarWind Elsydeon My personal favorite of the three is Litten. I like her because she is now one of the few cat Pokemon.

Definitely agreeing with @Teapot on this one. I'd love to see this design on a shirt. It lends itself to such nicely. ^^
Also, I only just got to read your full explanation behind this picture and now I adore it even more. The level of thought that you put into the design is wonderful and definitely adds to the image overall. This is all awesome, and as I actually quite like Popplio I very much approve of this. ♥

@Crazy Umbreon Lady: At the moment it's Rowlet, as a grass type owl is a combination of two of my favorite things ever. But it's kind of a close one as Litten cracks me the frell up with how 100% done with everything it looks. XD

I've heard that from a few people now, actually - I am seriously considering it, but I might have to apply some serious edits to make it viable shirtways.

I'd like Popplio more if it wasn't so... shitty circus seal, y'know. But it may grow to surprise us all - I'm quite looking forward to see what they have in mind for the thing's evolutions.

Popplio may be your least favorite of the trio, but its my favorite so I'm not sure if I should squee or marvel at the stupendous transmutation circle you've constructed here. The amount of thought and effort you put into this is pretty impressive considering you don't like the thing.
