He stared at her in amazement. “I haven’t heard that name in a long time.” He said.
She grinned. “I thought it was appropriate.”

(Note: I hate the storyline I started on the first two, so I'm scrapping it and doing something else. Probably just as bad, but...)
Benji waited outside the shop, sitting on an old bench and watching the passers by. He attracted a few stares because of the large bag of gear resting beside him, but he ignored it. The townspeople weren't used to seeing strangers carrying that much stuff around with them, except during market season. It didn't matter to Benji, though. He just had to wait until Abbi was done in the shop, and then they could be on their way. But she was taking a long time...

It was with a small measure of relief that he heard her come out several minutes later. It wasn't that he was uncomfortable with the stares, or anything like that. He was just impatient. He turned around in his seat, planning to give her an 'It's about time' comment, or at least something to that effect, when he caught sight of her. He paused, mouth open.

Her new look was impressive. A forest green shirt that fitted her well was topped by a leather vest and a long cloak, slightly darker green and reaching to the backs of her knees. Her leggings were of a light brown, with leather pads at the knees and shins, and her boots were sturdy and functional. One final change was that her hair, which had been long and tangled before, now rested in a tight braid on the back of her head.

Benji was impressed, and his face must have showed it, for Abbi began to giggle.

"So, am I ready for an adventure now?"

She asked with one final titter.

"Looks like it."

"Good, because I picked out my adventurer while I was getting my measurements taken."

"Oh?"

"Yep! From this moment onwards I will be,"

She struck a pose.

"Donna Crystulla!"

He stared at her in amazement for a moment. The name was familiar, but he couldn't quite place his finger on it, until he saw her pose. Then he remembered. He had heard Donna Crystulla stories when he was young, sitting in front of a fireplace and begging his parents for stories.

"I... haven't heard that name in a long time." He said, a strange expression on his face.

She grinned. "I thought it was appropriate."

He shrugged. It didn't really matter to him, anyways. But for some reason, he felt strange about it...

@JadeStar did you see the note in the description? I decided to scrap the previous storyline because I didn't like it.
