...they're literally just theories.
Anyhoo, welcome to Just Theories, the show where yours truly tries to piece together some stuff and fail! Horribly!
And what better to start off with what was the ore block of modern gaming, Minecraft.
A masterpiece loved by all ages.
Some...better than others, to say the least.
Anyway, Minecraft is a very strange game.
At least the lore behind it is.
Literal fire is a mob.
What is an Iron Golem and WHY DON'T WE HAVE ONE YET?!
An entire village filled with SQUIDWARDS?!
Spiders the size of one's belly after feeding on cookies and milk? (Merry Christmas! lul)
And one of the most strange mobs in the whole game are undoubtedly the Guardian.
A mysterious race known to live in Sea Temples and Sea Temples ONLY.
But I'm here to explain the lore behind these mysterious creatures and why they live so near their Sea Temples.
JUST THEORIES
PRESENTED BY DOPELEAFEON470 (duh)
To start off, we know that they live underwater in a large temple, which can easily be confused with Atlantis.
And we know this because there seem to be blocks exclusive to this biome, such as Sea Lanterns...uh...that other light blue block, and it's the only place to find natural Gold Blocks.
So we can see that this race has already had gold in the first place. And there's no way they just somehow dug underground with NO ARMS and just found them lying there.
No, they had to MINE IT.
They had to put in the effort to grab a pickaxe and mine until gold was found.
Plus, there's a LOT of it.
What if Guardians USED to have arms to mine this gold?
The only mobs with arms that can pick up things are Zombies, Skeletons, Husks, and Strays.
Meaning these guys used to be humans.
Yyyyyyep.
Guardians used to be humans. They used to be an unstoppable empire, pinned on world domination.
They were a very complex empire, an elder being their leader, demanding for his minions to mine for gold until gold could not be mined.
And back then, gold used to be very common, that's why they have so much of it, and why it's so rare nowadays. Because the Guardians used it all up.
They used their newfound gold to build a temple so huge, and used its leftover gold at the core of the temple, guarded by the leader.
But then, water came in. Water came in FAST.
They had already used up all of their gold, and there wasn't enough time to build another temple in a higher area.
They didn't learn their lesson until it was too late.
The water was filled with blood, and then, the Witch, one of the Elder Guardian's greatest allies, threw a healing potion into the water, reviving some of the empire.
But as Witches are born to do, the mix with water and a minor failure in the chemicals caused the potion to turn the Guardian Empire into monsters.
Horrible monsters with thorns and laser-eyes.
Their gold temple eventually started to rot, and turn into rubbish blocks, the leftover gold the only ones left.
So now the Guardians do the only thing they can do: Swim and defend.
They defend from Squids because they don't know what Squids can do.
They don't know what Squids are capable of.
So they burn them on the spot.
And they defend from you for the same reason.
They don't want to die again. The Witch has died.
The Guardians were a powerful empire, but only few remain.
This is being the Dopest of Leafeon!
And I hope you all have a fabulous day!
