Original Characters: Velvet Portrait

Velvet is the daughter of the gym leader, Mavis, and the pokemon champion, Colby. Velvet looks up to her father and wishes to one day join the elite four so that she can be in the pokemon league with him. She wants to be like him in every possible way and even demanded a pair of glasses matching his for her birthday. For her young age, Velvet is incredibly talented and is easily the strongest gym leader in the region. However, she is quite naive and often overestimates herself, and it is for this reason that Colby has not yet allowed her join the elite four. She is yet to defeat even one member of the elite four, but she doesn't show any discouragement.
