The Truth Behind...: The Truth Behind Sun and Lillie

by DopeLeafeon470

DopeLeafeon470 Hey, what did Lillie go on to get to Kanto? Hint: It's what people did to Sun and Lillie
It was at this moment that you realized: Lillie has a huge crush on Sun. It's kind of disturbing when you think about it. Like that Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time scenario. When you're a kid, you get girl cooties from putting your mouth on an Ocarina that they have previously used. But as an adult, you literally WANT the girl to put her mouth on said Ocarina. But we're not talking about Zelda. This is Pokemon Sun and Moon here. I'm DopeLeafeon, and this is the Truth Behind Sun and Lillie.

It kinda makes you think: What makes Sun so attractive to Lillie. Well, it's only partially that. The reason why Lillie loves Sun is because the amount that Sun has done for Lillie. Think about it: Sun saved Lillie from an Alolan Exeggutor, Sun saved Nebby, (I'll call her Nebz for the time being), Sun protected Lillie in so many cases that Lillie took their relationship to the next level. And yes, some might say that Lillie was supposed to kiss Sun at some point in the story. It could've been the fireworks interruption at the celebration for becoming Alola's first champion, or it could've been at the end where Lillie's saying her last goodbye. First of all, it couldn't have been the fireworks interrruption because that was when Lillie was telling Sun that she was leaving for Kanto. But the last goodbye could've been possible. Anyway, if Game Freak were to choose one character to fall in love with the player, it would most definitely be Lillie. Lillie is such a developed character, unlike Mr. Happyman over here.
RANDOM FUN FACT: Hau'oli means happiness, so in English, Hau'oli City means Happiness City. break it down to the first syllable, and you have happy. So Hau's name literally means happy.
In fact, none of the traveling companions in the whole series comes CLOSE to Lillie's character development. So maybe Game Freak actually WANTED the player to fall in love with Lillie in the first place? I don't know, I sit at my desk in loneliness as I watch anime all day. Anyway, they put so much development into the character so that it builds up to the last goodbye. It made a lot of people legit cry. "WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN HAU?!" they said. So, in conclusion, Sun and Lillie were literally MADE for each other. And I'm not talking Anna and Kristoff made for each other, I mean Barbie and Ken made for each other. These two were ACTUALLY made for each other.

If Lillie doesn't come back in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, I will go over there and strangle Game Freak. Give it up for Day 52 of no Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon news! Hey, I'm DopeLeafeon, and I hope you all have a fabulous day!

    1. Moon isn't exactly the canon character. She could be, and this whole theory could be debunked, but this is just my opinion.
    2. What does Ninjago have to do with Pokemon?

(DISCLAIMER, THIS IS JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT AND MY TWO CENTS, AS SUCH IT SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!!)

You raise an interesting point, but I have one little question: what about Moon? Game Freak wouldn't want to upset all the people whose lives revolve around slamming LGBTQs online or in the face(as I've unfortunately seen at my school), would they? Furthermore, Sun and Moon(the characters) are just blank slates for the player to draw on. In Ninjago terms, they're Lloyd and the player is Morro, the mortal and the ghost. What if a male player likes boys? But hey, that's just an argument -- A GAME SHIPPING ARGUMENT. THANKS FOR READING.
