We finally made it to Jasper Town. A sign read- Jasper Town, Home to Felicity the Dark Type Gym Leader. "A dark type gym", Conner said curiously. Without any further ado, Conner rushed straight to the gym, eager to get his first badge. "Are you sure about this", asked Bridget. "Definitely!" Said Conner. I still can't get over how calm he is about challenges. Caeser started talking to me. "Hey Milo, hopefully we get to evolve soon." He said eagerly. I do too Caeser, I do too. "I'm really close to evolving, I can feel it!", Said Caeser. I bet you'll evolve soon. I wish you good luck for the battle. "Thanks! I'll win for you,Conner,Bridget,and Lily!" Caeser Replied. Sounds good to me. Of course, the first pokemon Conner sends out is Caeser. Felicity sent out a houndour. "Caeser, use return!" Said Conner. The leader started laughing. "Hahaha!" The Leader roared. "What's so funny?" Asked Conner angrily. She replied "Well you see, most trainers come with AT LEAST ONE evolved pokemon. But, you have none!" The houndour dodged and used thief. "Keep going Caeser, use ember." Conner said. He started sweating. No. It can't be he's nervous again. The Gym Leader laughed even more. "Use flamethrower" He withdrew Caeser. "Milo, go!" He said. I couldn't believe it. He WITHDREW a Pokemon. Something I've never seen him do. I used mud shot. "Houndour, used dark pulse." Let me just say one thing, that houndour was strong. I used magnitude and that defeated houndour. I was withdrawn. Then Conner sent out Caeser. Then he said "I believe in you Caeser, you can do it!" He was calm again. Felicity sent out a Carvanha. "Carvanha, use water gun on that weakling!" Caeser took the hit. He was drenched. "Caeser I believe in you, use return!" Said Conner. He was calm. It hit Carvanha. "That's it! Carvanha, use water pulse, then use bite! Caeser took both hits. "C'mon Caeser I believe in you 100%! I believe that you can keep fighting. Then, Caeser started glowing. It was evolving.
