This is an acrylic and pen & ink painting I did for my Advanced Illustration class. What I did was took a public domain story- Kenneth Graham's The Reluctant Dragon- worked on character designs, bios, storyboards, concept & color studies, etc. and then came up with this for my final project. This illustration depicts a scene from the story, where the reluctant dragon comes out of his cave, pretending to act ferocious as he prepares to "fight" St. George
Well, it's not exactly Pokémon-related, but I've wanted to post something on the creative corner for a while &, since I don't have any really good fan art, I thought I'd try one of my regular art pieces. This particular one was sold at my college senior art show &, if you look carefully, you'll find a small reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail
