Allen and his Eevee, Apollo, walked through the plains. Allen found that Apollo didn’t like being in the wooden orb that most pokemon stay inside, so he just let him stay out of the capsule.
Allen knew that Myolto couldn’t be far, why else would the scholar want to shop there. He saw a town in the distance, that had to be the right place! He practically ran to the town, until he ran into someone. “I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to run into you. I was just running errands and-” Allen got a look at the boy. He looked about his age, at 16. His hair was shoulder length and was brown. His eyes were the color of chocolate and were narrowed. He was slender and tall. His skin was as pale as the kings. His tunic was a dark blue, his breaches were a pale green, and brown boots were upon his feet. A sheathed sword hung at his waist.
“I suggest you watch where you are going, peasant. If you ran into anyone else in my family, then your head would have been severed from your body. You are lucky you ran into me instead. Now if you excuse me, I need to do my job as a future knight of the king. Also, don’t stare at nobility, it is considered rude.” The boy said as he walked off.
Allen stood dumbfounded. What kind of person called random people peasants? His face turned red with anger. How dare he. Apollo looked at him with a confused look. DId he think he was overreacting? If he did, then he was much less loyal then he thought. “Don’t look at me like that. We need to get those groceries.” Allen stormed into Myolto with Apollo following behind him meekly. He found that Myotlo was very busy, for a small town. People were all over the market place. He would have to be quick and polite to the merchants. However, he was still upset with his run-in with nobility. He got everything that was on the list and exited Myolto. The plains were still a sight to see as he went back to Seaport. Then he ran into a Pidgey. “Apollo go!”
The Pidgey flew higher and came down swiftly. Apollo ran towards the Pidgey then swerved to the side at the last minute and hit the bird’s back with his hind legs. The bird gave a cry of anguish and spun around to hit the fox-like pokemon with his beak. Allen yelled at his Eevee to run. This wasn’t the time to fight, especially since the bird was enraged, meaning his attack doubled. The Pidgey was fighting to kill at this point, and Apollo was someone he would protect with his life, even if they just met that very same day. Allen got one or two hits from the bird until he lost interest and went after a Diglet. “Good riddance!” Allen thought as he and Apollo carried the scholar’s groceries back to Seaport.

Allen and Apollo made it back to Seaport without much trouble after that Pidgey. If anything it was very uneventful. The boy made it back to the scholar’s house and knocked. “Um, sir? It’s me, Allen. I got what you wanted.”
The old man opened the door and pulled him inside. “Did anyone follow you?” He asked.
Allen got a confused look on his face. “No. Why?” He set the groceries on one of the man’s tables.
The scholar hobbled over to one of his shelves. “Just this.” He put a map of Riolus and some capsules into the boy’s hands.
“Why are you giving me a map and capsules?” Allen asked.
“I think the monarchy needs a little change. All of them are rotten to the core. That’s why I’m giving you this, I can tell you what to become king. I just needed to see how you would react when given a task like buying things for an old man, like myself.”
Allen was silent. This man was going to give him what was needed to become king. “So you are just going to tell me how-”
“Don’t be ridiculous! I don’t know how one becomes king! You’ll have to find out for yourself. But if it makes you feel better, you can write everything down.” He handed him a blank brown leather book, bounded with leather strips and a quill with ink. “Just be careful who you let see that. Until you get the alliance from a territory, you must not be seen openly rebelling against the king.” He said as he gave Allen a brown leather bag for everything that he was given.
Allen nodded and mouthed thank you. He picked up his leather sack and place everything that he received into the bag. Then he left to take the crown.
