Part 8: Life or Death?/ Triforce Shard #3
Link limped into the desert part of the Darklands. “S-So hot.” Link said “I’m gonna find that guy who separated me from the Phoenix Warriors!”. He then came across Gerudo Town. “An injured traveler! Please come in! We’ll help you!”. “Aw Thanks!” Link said in relief. But after Link went in, the guards had an evil smile on them.
As an injured Link explored the village, the gates closed and he was surrounded by many Gerudo fighters. “A trap!? Okay then! I’ll fight you guys!”. “I wouldn’t fight them if I were you!” Ganondorf said floating in the air. “Ganondorf! So they’re evil like you!?”. “No, not exactly. I just put them under mind control that’s all.”. “Aw Wow! You trapped me, good job! Do you want a cookie for that?” Link mocked his archenemy. “Still as cocky too. Well, I’ll make a deal with you boy!”. “Huh?”. “Fight for your life, but she dies! Ganondorf said, showing Zelda in a cage. “Zelda!? You let her go!!!”. “Okay. But if I let the princess go, the Gerudo will kill you.”. “You monster...”.
“It’s Life or Death boy! What shall you choose?”. “I choose....Nether!”. Link swung and energy slash at Zelda’s cage and got Zelda out. “Very well.... Kill away!”. “Zelda stay back! I can’t let a princess into this!” Link said battling the Gerudo. “I’m no ordinary princess though... Cause this one fights!”
Zelda then aided Link in his battle by using combat skills to defeat Gerudo soldiers. “Hey! The Phoenix Sword!” Link said as a fighter knocked the sword out of his hand. “Don’t worry! I got it!”Zelda said catching it! “I believe this belongs to you!”. “Thanks!”.
“Okay You piece of crap! All the fighters are beaten! Give up!”. “Heh! Do want to know what’s going to happen to you?”. “What?”. “When I face you...You’ll die. Your uncle and your friends will be chopped to pieces!”. “Shut up...” Link said about to cry. “And your little girlfriend.... I’ll savor her blood!”. “SHUT UP!!!” Link yelled shooting a energy slash at him, but it went right through him. “Just a magic hologram, your no warrior! Warriors confront their fears!”. “And what do I fear?” Ganondorf asked? “You fear me Ganondorf! You fear me and this sword! And you decide to confront me as that!? You might have that Triforce of Power, but you’re just a scared warlock!”. “Enough! I’ve hated your family for the longest time! I lost to your great, great, great grandfather! Killed your father! And you know what?! I'll enjoy killing you the most out of all the Phoenix Warriors!”.
He vanished. The Gerudo snapped out of their mind control. “We are terribly sorry! As a thanks for freeing us...”. “We have treasured this piece of the Triforce of Courage for a long time, now you can use it for the land of Hyrule!”. “Thank you, Okay..... I need to rest!”.
As Zelda healed Links wounds they talked. “I wonder how long we’ll be here?” Zelda asked. “Don’t worry, Fi sent a message to the Warriors. They should come soon!”. “Say, I didn’t know you could fight. Maybe you would want to be part of the Phoenix Warriors?”. “I’ll consider it.”. “But you still have to give me that smooch though Zelda.” “Can you just shut up about that!?” Zelda said blushing.
