The Addams Family: Tachikoma

Aura Oh look it's someone I've never drawn before! No, seriously. I decided ages ago that I wanted Blair to adopt a Joltik at some point, and Blair being Blair, her first reaction upon getting a new friend is to go and take pictures of both of them. His name is Tachi (probably more suited to name a Metagross that but whatever), and as he's very young he tends to run out of energy quickly, so he can often by found sleeping. Preferably on other people. When he's feeling more awake he's often cheerful and naive, which causes Blair's other Pokemon to underestimate his intelligence, only to get shut down when he asks questions that they can't wrap their heads around about the nature of the world.

Oh, and if you're wondering why Blair's hair is suddenly stupidly long - its because she's definitely the kind of person to own and wear hair extensions.

    @Aura Nah, I'm actually the same as you. I prefer an abstract type picture of fractured dimensions than a perfect picture of a bedroom

    @Sky5372 Eh, it really depends on your opinion on how art should work. I value making something look good over accurately reflecting reality, so that kind of thing doesn't personally bother me. But thanks for the criticism anyway, its good to hear :)

    @Aura Yeah, that's the thing. I apologized for that reason, since there isn't really a way to get rid of it without remaking the whole hair design. But hey, I suppose it's a chibi, so that kinda stuff is all right

    All I can say is, I LOVE IT!!!!

    Unfortunately, my other half would like to note the fact that one of her eyelashes are clipping over her hair, as is part of her eye.

    @Eevee is who I am I intentionally left it out. Its often a stylistic trait of chibi's to not draw the nose in the name of making most of their facial features seem really small to enhance the size of the eyes.

    @Silver-Solis I can't say I'm very familiar with Touhou, so the resemblance is sadly unintentional, but thank you anyway :3

    @Teapot Aw thank you so much ^^ I don't blame you for having a weakness for Joltiks, they're easily the cutest Pokemon in existence (in my opinion, anyway). I guess I'll just have to draw more of them in order to exploit that then!

    I just sat and tried to think of my favourite thing about this piece to point out, but I genuinely think it's all amazing – I'm really impressed by it all! (Also, Joltiks are my secret weakness, and this one is really cute...) As always, wonderful job! :)
