Bone was a huge part of my childhood. I started reading somewhere around when the first six issues were put into a collection, and never missed an issue after that. Smiley and Ted ("I'm Ted! I'm a bug!") are two of my favorite creatures, alongside Giant Cigar-Smoking Bee and Ted's Brother. Bone ended up being a major influence on just about every creative endeavor I ever ended up doing thereafter.
