A few days later inside the lair of the infamous Boogeyman, the Neko, named Kirito, was rushing to the main room of the Boogeyman's hideout. "Kirito, my best assassin, I have another job for you," the Boogeman said in his voice that was like the darkest night. "I want you to," he paused then said, "dispose of, yes that's it, I want you to dispose of this 'Zero' and 'Lucy'." He twirled a miniature globe of the world on his index finger. "You know what happens if you don't do as you're told." The Boogeyman gestured to a cafe at the back of the room. Inside three pairs of eyes looked fearfully out, their ears and tails showing irritated fear. Kirito saw his family in the cage, then bowed formally and said, "It shall be done as you asked." "Good, you are dismissed." Then the Boogeyman turned away and went back to concocting horrible nightmares.
The next day, Kirito found Lucy, and stalked her till night came. Then he attacked Lucy on her way home from the grocery store that night. Lucy fought back at the Neko. She felt a searing pain in her side and she looked down at herself, blinded by tears, and saw gaping wounds on her right side that were gushing crimson waterfalls of blood. She stared, horrified, then she looked up to see the Neko staring at her. He nodded brusquely then force fed her an oozing green mushroom then fled.
