Yeah! Bulbasaur is my favorite of the Kanto starters. It used to be Squirtle but I guess my opinions change.

Aw, Chikorita was my first Johto starter too ♥ I have kept her on Soul Silver though because I still play it all the time xD Why didn't you go to Hoenn?

Good to see another grass type lover! my very first ever starter was a chikorta.I got heartgold when i was 9-10 years old.Now he is a strong meganuim.We have been traveling together for 7 years when have been to Johto,Kanto,Sinnoh,Unova,Kalos(Not hoenn though lol)

Yeah, I gotta agree, that's why I made him seem so shocked that I picked him. I must admit that I was never able to beat Lance with him because I didn't train anything else, but...oh well xD

My Meganium on there is one of my least memorable starters because she was...well...a Meganium lol
Makes me happy to know that others carry their old starters all the way up to Alola Feraligatr is pretty amazing ^^

Glad to see the old good Bulbasaur getting some love, to me it's always felt a bit underappreciated when compared to Charmander and Squirtle. To be fair its' mega evolution was my favorite one in X and Y as well.

Also, this reminds me of my Feraligatr that I started my Pokémon Soul Silver playthrough with. It's not like it was the first Pokémon game that I had played, but that run ended up becoming my most memorable one. It also made Feraligatr my all-time favorite Pokémon! Also much like your Venusaur, he's still with me today, accompanying me on Alola.
