#114 - Staturosa (statue + Dolorosa + rose)
Adamant Pokémon
Rock/Crystal-type
It is a pokémon that took on the appearance of statues of mighty heroes from ancient times. Although it appears to be wearing clothing, the pleats and folds are actually unyielding stone. Its legs do not bend, and it travels by floating.

This pokémon is a good example of modern PokéGenesis, the process by which new pokémon species appear through interaction of the background matrix of pokémon energy/spiritual energy/Infinity Energy with the world, including both the natural environment and human constructs and artifacts. Pokémon that already exist are also changing, as evidenced by both the Archaic formes from the past and the modern Regional formes.
The appearance of Staturosa has been influenced over time by the human artifacts that presumably triggered their genesis in the first place, but it is unknown if it was truly different-looking in the past or if this was merely artistic license in the relevant records. The same debate was held over the appearances of various steel-type pokémon until their Archaic formes were successfully triggered.

This is a pokemon that comes out of me wanting to make 1) a special-focused rock type and 2) probably due to lingering mental damage from all the titan constructs in WoW because I played it for eight million years
