Alright, I gotta say this ship wasn't any normal ship. It was a cruise ship! Apparently from what I heard the village saved up enough money to purchase a cruise ship to come here. I stared back at our village, evaporating away.
I felt a hand touch my arm. "Hey, Dim."
I turned around to see Lucas and Jamie. "Hi." I said.
"Your pokemon don't look very well." Lucas said.
"Oh. I was battling Flame, but I lost to him." I said.
"It's no surprise, you know he's descended from ninjas." Lucas said.
"Yeah, but I will keep training." I said.
"Anyways, four is a large crowd, so is it OK with you that you can travel with Stephanie and I travel with Jamie?" Lucas said.
"Sure, OK, I don't mind, but we can probably see each other every once in a while, right?" I said.
"Yeah." Lucas said.
"Come on!" Stephanie pulled on my arm. "Let's go inside! I heard there's sooo much!" She started running for the door that brought you indoors, and I started running after her.
Stephanie opened the door once we got close and inside looked like rows of tiny hotel rooms, but it was rounded out. In the middle was hollow, but what we saw was a swimming pool, rowing machines, yoga mats, treadmills, and barbells and dumbbells.
"Oh my gosh..." I said. This would'es taken years for the village to save up on. I looked on my shoulder. "Do they have a place where they can take care of our pokemon when they're passed out?" I asked.
"Duh, it's not here," Stephanie said. "Let's go back outside, I think it's there."
While we were walking out, the only thing I could see was a vast blue. Blue, blue blue.
"We are so lucky to have this." Stephanie said.
"And what if we didn't?" I asked.
"We would take a really long boat ride on a small boat, that could only hold a limited amount of people, so we would have to take turns." Stephanie answered as she pushed open the door to the Nurse's office. (For pokemon). "I'll wait outside."
"Hello." I said.
"Hello there. It's seems like your Riolu and Sneasel aren't in good shape, let me see them," the Nurse picked up Riolu and Sneasel. "While I'm working on them, you can go to your hotel room." she said.
"Hotel rooms?" I said.
"Yes, we always let in an even amount of people on the boat, so we give one person a key, and we let them choose who they want to stay with, but if we see an outcast, we let them with someone who does have a hotel key, and no partner." the nurse said.
Soooo.... I guess I'm Stephanie's partner. I thought.
"Thank you, Nurse, please make sure they get better as soon as possible." I said.
"Don't worry, you can count on me!"
I went out the door.
"How'd it go?" Stephanie asked.
"Riolu and Sneasel are being cared for, the Nurse said I can go out," I replied. "Also, do you have a hotel room key? The Nurse told me about that." I said.
"Cool, she told you that. I got the key right.... here!" Stephanie pulled out a key. "She probably mentioned the partners, too, sooooo.... well I picked you as a partner!"
"OK, thank you." I said.
We got to our room, which was a room with two beds, one TV, a rug, a closet, and a bathroom. It also consisted of a few chairs, as if someone would invite some people over for a get-together.
The phone in the room started ringing. I picked it up. "Hello?" I said.
"Ah, yes, Dim was it? Someone told me. Anyways, your pokemon are fully healed. Come back as soon as possible to get them." it was the Nurse who called.
"I've got to go, watch the room, please." I said.
"OK." Stephanie said.
I left the room, and after I close the door, I could hear the little 'click' of Stephanie locking the door. From the sounds of it, Stephanie is taking good care of the hotel room already.
After picking Riolu and Sneasel up, all healthy and energetic, I went back to the room, and SMACKED on the door. As you can tell I don't have the best patience.
Stephanie opened the door and let us inside. I sat on one of the chairs, and lifted the curtains to stare out at the sea.
"Riolu, Sneasel," I whispered. "this is where our journey finally begins."
I felt a hand touch my arm. "Hey, Dim."
