And my first actual piece of art for 2019 - even though it’s been painted over November and part of December.
This piece happened when another piece I started stalled due to my inability to get it looking quite right and I decided I needed a break from that one and to work on something more freeform instead. I started with a blank canvas and literally just started throwing shapes until something took form - and proceeded to refine it until this took shape. I’ve had a lot of fun with subtle (and not so subtle) colour transitions here - sadly the camera doesn’t QUITE do them justice. (I really do need to learn how to photograph my art better.)
