Moonlight softly shone through the barrier of clouds in the sky. The world below it was pitch black, as if someone had drained all of the colour from the universe. Suddenly, a blast of valiant light blew the darkness into oblivion. A large pokemon galloped swiftly through the blasted path. It looked extremely tired. It had the form of a deer, but with huge, glistening horns shining with all the colours of the rainbow.
“Give up!” A gruff voice called. “You know we got you covered!” A troop of humans, all dressed in red uniforms, ran after the pokemon running away. The pokemon skidded to a halt. “XERRRRN!” It cried. The clouds surrounding the moon flew back. The large moon, once a milky white blob in the sky, glew pink. A huge blast of moonlight rained down on the humans chasing the pokemon. Suddenly, right before the moonblast reigned down onto the humans, another loud cry rang out across the landscape.
“YVETAAAAAAA!” The ledgendary pokemon Yvetal swooped down, using the move protect to shield the humans. Yvetal’s eyes, usually a piercing blue, were blood red. A collar around it’s neck had a strange flame symbol on it. Xerneas looked taken aback by this. “Heh! That’s right! Your friend is completely under our control!” The gruff voice taunted. Yvetal began to charge a oblivion wing. Xerneas knew this was her time to flee. The ledgendary pokemon gave out a cry. A pink mist covered the landscape as Xerneas escaped. “Crap…” The man snarled. “We’ll just have to get it another time.”
