It began to glide around the ice, circling Flannere. “I never miss a beat!” Surskit taunted. It glided towards Flannere, slamming it’s body into her multiple times. “Trip Surskit! Hurry!” Xerione cried. Flannere extended her paw, swiping Surskit’s legs out from underneath it. “Never miss a… Beat?” Surskit exclaimed sadly as it slammed into the ice. It’s health dropped to 0. “Crap!” Viola cursed, and returned Surskit. The ice from the battlefield disappeared. “Now, Vivillon, it’s your turn!”
A large butterfly popped out. “Ember.” Xerione said simply. Flannere opened her mouth, a blast of fire shooting out. It raced towards the Vivillon, exploding in its face.
“You beat my number one pokemon ALREADY?!” Viola said in shock. “Well, colour me impressed! Nice job, trainer! You earn the Bug Badge all the way!” She handed Xerione a small badge. It was shaped like a bug’s face. She quickly snapped a photo. “Good luck out there, trainer!” Viola waved as Xerione exited the gym, Flannere by her side.
