Kira smiled. “Yeah! I can’t believe that-“ Kai, Flannere, and Xerione cut Kira off. “Kira! Your stutter is gone!” They all yelled. “Really?” Kira asked. “Yes! Group hug!” Xerione cried, scooping her pokemon into a big hug. “H-Hey! Don’t touch me! B-Baka!” Flannere protested. “Congrats on beating me, trainer! Looks like that hondege is yours!” Hari smiled, walking off of the court.
Alexander floated up to Xerione. “I will do my best to serve and protect you, m’lady.” He promised. “No need for that, silly!” Xerione laughed. “Welcome to the team! I haven’t properly introduced the gang. This is Flannere.” She pointed to the Braixen. “Finally, someone articulated!” Flannere exclaimed. “That’s Kira.” Xerione pointed to the kirilia. “Hi…” Kira exclaimed. “And that’s Kai.” Xerione pointed to the bulbasaur. “Howdy!” Kai smiled. “It is a pleasure to meet you all.” Alexander proclaimed, sheathing himself. He floated onto Xerione’s back. “Okay then! Let’s get a move on!”
Hari walked into Lynsandre café. She sat down at a booth seat. After a few minutes, Lynsandre sat down on the opposite side of her. “Did you lose to the girl like I asked?” He exclaimed in a calm voice. “Of course, sir. She was weak.” Hari responded. “She won’t be. Yvetal will have caught Xerneas soon. Then she will be.” Lynsandre responded.
Xerneas sprinted across the landscape, Yvetal hot on her trail. The legendary pokemon was beginning to run out of stamina to continue on. Xerneas knew that the time before she was captured was dwindling.
