“A-A pokemon battle?” Xerione asked in shock. “Yup! I’m using my Doublade, you can use 2 pokemon. Those are the rules!” Hari smiled. “Okay then! Kira, Flannere, are you okay with fighting her?” Xerione asked. “That baka? Too easy!” Flannere snorted. “S-S-Sure!” Kira smiled. “I-I do n-need some l-levels!”
“Okay then, let us begin!” Hari called. She sent out her Doublade. It gave out a cry, and floated in the air. “Okay, Flannere, you’re up!” Xerione exclaimed. Flannere walked into the field, drawing her stick. “Okay Flannere, use flame charge!” Xerione commanded. Flannere nodded, and began to spin around, her stick extended. Flames began to form at the edge of the stick, surrounding Flannere. The braixen sprinted at Doublade at full speed, crashing into it. This attack depleted Doublade’s health by ¾. “Okay then! Doublade, slash!” Hari proclaimed. The Doublade lunged forwards, slashing over Flannere. Her health depleted by 2/4. She flinched. “Flannere, switch out! Kira, you can do this!” Xerione yelled. Kira went onto the field. “O-okay then. Maybe I s-should try to u-up my a-attack…” Kira muttered. She began to quiver, standing on her tiptoes. Her pink horn began to glow with psychic energy. She shot it at the Doublade, knocking it’s hp to 0.
Kira gasped. “I-I-I did it?!” Xerione dashed onto the field, squeezing Kira into a giant bear hug. “Augh! I’m so proud of you, Kir!” She laughed. Kira suddenly was engulfed in a blue light. She was lifted out of Xerione’s arms as blue and white orbs spun around her. Her body began to expand. Legs grew out of Kira’s small stubs. The tiny helmet-like cover on her head disappeared, being replaced by one that did not cover her eyes. A frilling skirt appeared around her waist. Kira was lowered slowly to the ground. “Kira! Now I’m proud x2!” Xerione smiled. Flannere looked at Kira. “Welcome to the evolved club, baka.” Flannere smiled. “At least that brat Kai isn’t in here, yet.” Flannere shot a nasty look at Kai. “Great job, Kir. Looks like I won’t have to carry ‘yall anymore.” Kai smiled.
