“Urrrrgggghhh… so hungry….” Xerione complained, patting her stomach. “S-same here. Where’s a good pokepuff when a girl needs one?” Flannere agreed, Kira nodding. “HEY! XERIONEEEEEEEEE!” A voice called out behind her. “Yvonne!” Xerione smiled. “How have you been?” “Good! I caught a new pokemon! Meet Calypso!” Yvonne took out a pokeball, and opened it. A Litleo leapt out of the pokeball.
Kira gasped, and ducked into Xerione’s hat. “Nice! Have you gotten the Bug Badge yet?” Xerione asked. “Yuppers! It was easy with Calypso here.” Yvonne giggled. “Anyways-“ “You two! Come over here, now!” A voice called. Two trainers, around 20 years old or so, stood in front of the girls. They both wore scarves. The female wore a red scarf. She had light brown skin and deep, black hair. The male wore the blue scarf. He had pale white skin and light blonde hair. “You both are pokedex carriers, correct?” The male asked.
“Yeah, that’s us!” Xerione said, a bit suspicious of the two trainers. “What’s it to ya?” Yvonne challenged. “Well, I am Sina and this is Dexio.” The female explained. “We work for Professor Sycamore, just like the man Calem who gave you your pokemon.” “Oh. Sorry for accusing you. I SINA error of my ways.” Yvonne joked. Everyone in the group face-palmed.
“Anyways, horrible puns aside, we must take you to Professor Sycamore’s lab.” Dexio explained. “Lets go!”
(A bunch of walking later)
“Here we are! The highly presteemed Sycamore Lab!” Sina proclaimed proudly. “Cool. Let’s just get this over with.” Xerione muttered. She was terrified. What if Professor Sycamore reconized her? “Just go into the elevator, and choose the 3rd floor.” Dexio commanded.
(One elevator ride later…)
Professor Sycamore was standing near his desk. He was polishing some pokeballs. “Ah! Tres bien! You’re here!” He exclaimed, walking over to the girls. “Let me check your pokedexes, please!” Xerione and Yvonne held out their pokedexes. Professor Sycamore placed them on a jack. “This will upgrade them and download your data onto my computer. Now, can I test your skills in battle?” He asked the girls. “What do you think, guys?” Xerione asked. “Fine. He must be a baka anyways.” Flannere sighed. Kira peeked out from under Xerione’s hat. “O-okay…” Kira exclaimed. “Let’s do this then!” Xerione cheered.
