@Psycho Monkey I should probably point out that I'm referring to a shading technique (Those closely placed parallel lines are called hatching which I was supposed to do all of the shading here using), not the biological meaning sorry >> And all drawings involving birbs are feathers for days. They're so fun to draw!

If it was freshly hatched it would be a naked featherless birb. This Fletchling has long since hatched hatched, fully fledged, and left the nest. But if this is a female Fletchling she can lay eggs and they can hatch! You just skipped the process is all. Besides, isn't art all about interpretation any way? You simply interpreted the lesson as feathers for days.

Well, that Fletchling certainly hatched... xD
