"Whoa! The port is way bigger than
I imagined!" Said Cy, still keeping his distance from Nico. A giant building with 10-foot wide docks coming off of everywhere lie before them. "This place is crazy!" Said Yellow. "Eh. Slateport's bigger." Said Opal. Alex looked up from his research. "Whoa." He said. Avelyn's eyes were wide. "Whoa! Check this out, Nico!" She said. But Nico wasn't there. The group looked around and finally saw Nico.... Who was already at the port's main building. "Wow. He is actually the fastest person in this group." Said Yellow. "We gotta catch up!" Yelled Avelyn, running. The rest of the group followed. When they got in, they saw Nico, playing games on his Poke'Nav. "That thing has games?" Asked Cy. "Yep. Also, here's your tickets." Nico said, handing them all one. "Thank you!" Said Avelyn and Yellow at the same time. Then they heard the call for their boat. "That's us! Let's go!" Said Nico, dragging them all onto the platform. They showed their tickets to the boarder, and soon, they were off.
"Wow! This is a nice sea breeze!"
Said Nico, stretching onto a beach chair. The others followed, except Opal, who went to grab a snack. When she got back outside, she decided to check out the upper deck. She saw a flock of bird Pokemon flying about. Opal decided they looked cool, so she threw a Poke'Ball into the air and caught one. "Hm." She said, walking back down to the group
"Yo Nico! Use yo Pokedex to identify this Pokemon I just caught."
Said Opal, sending out the bird. "Oh, uh, okay..." Nico said, pulling it out. "Tailow. The Tiny Swallow Pokemon. A Flying and Normal type. Although Tailow is a fierce and courageous in battle, even against a stronger foe, hunger and loneliness can sometimes make it cry." The Pokedex. "Hmm. Pretty strong Pokemon." Opal said, returning Tailow. "I'll think of a nickname." She said, sitting in her own beach chair.
"Hey guys! I saw a poster at the
port!" Said Nico. "It said that there was a junior contest to be heald tomorrow in Dewford." Said Nico. The rest of the group decided to check it out.
