Lloyd walked through the forest. He gulped. "Mom probably wouldn't like it if I was here...but this is to prove myself..." he said. He came across an old shed. "Wh-who would put an old shed in the middle of the forest?" he shook. His flashlight blinked. "No, no, not now!" he said. "Okay, maybe I'll be safe in there." he said. Then, he heard rustling sounds. Without hesitation, he ran to the shed, moved the old piece of wood in front of the door, then moved it behind him, and turned around. The place was like a mansion. Everything was pretty much made of marble. There was everything. "Hm? Who's there?! Did the Midnight find out?!" said a voice. "Uh, I don't know who you are, but I'm just a teenager who's trying to get some shelter!" said Lloyd. "Oh, phew, just a kid." said the voice. Down came the stairs was an old man. "Who are you, and how did you find out about this shed?" asked the old man. "Uh, my name is Lloyd, and I heard some rustling noises, so I came in here!" he said. "hmmm...you're the first boy to come here in a long time! Come with me." said the old man. Lloyd followed the old man into the basement, where there were bows, swords, staffs, everything that had to do with combat. "Wow..." said Lloyd. "My name is O. Reliable. These are weapons of the light." said Reliable. "You can pick any one to defend yourself in this forest."
Lloyd marveled. "What's this one?" he asked. "That is the blade of skyworld. Hold it." said Reliable. Lloyd took the double-bladed sword off the wall. It started folding on him. "Ah! What's it doing?" panicked Lloyd. "It's turning into a blaster." said Reliable. "It can be a sword AND a blaster." Lloyd watched as both sides of the sword went on the side, the handle was in his hand, and gold material surrounded his wrist. He pointed it at a dummy, and it started charging, then it shot. "Woah! This thing is awesome!" said Lloyd. "And you can change it at will!" said Reliable. Lloyd thought of a sword in his mind. It folded up again, this time becoming a blade.
"Reliable? What are you doing down here?" asked a voice. "Oh, Lucky! There's a new kid here." said Reliable, as a girl came down the stairs. Lloyd gulped. He always screwed up his setences when he was talking to girls. "Sweet! A new member? Now I won't have to fight all the Midnight alone!" said the girl. "What's your name again?" asked Reliable. "Lloyd." said Lloyd. "Well, Lloyd, this is Lucky. Lucky, this is Lloyd." said Reliable. "Oh! Forgot to mention one thing. You can just put it on your back, and it'll stick!" said Reliable. "Really?" asked Lloyd. Lloyd put his sword on his back, and surely enough, it folded in two and was accessible. "Well, welcome to the crew!" said Reliable, as he walked upstairs to tell Lloyd more about what he was doing.
