Shen: King of Digimon This is reaver before he became what he is today. He used to be a meek, timid little thing. He had a lisp, couldn’t barley control metal, and was the runt of the litter. After years of torment he cracked, going on to create a powerful mechanical exosuit to obliterate his tormentors and classmates

    Main difference is that Tomiko would be sinking through the ground out of embarrassment and Kou would see it as a group of friends, who else can say that they got the elite of the village as their friend?

    Yeah, it’s amazing what years of torment and ridicule can do to one’s mind and soul.

    Kou though has a stronger will than even reaver, it would take much more to bring Kou to such a state, that is if Kou even can be brought to such a state

    It is quite a shame that such an innocent kid turned into the nightmarish Reaver, although he puts up a great fight. We can only hope that Kou doesn't get the same treatment
