I've been getting more and more into pixel art lately, and thought I'd upload some here. I've always loved drawing birds, so I challenged myself to do a .pixil of it. And quite frankly, I'm proud of the result.
I think this art is an accurate depiction of my soul. A lonely creature of flame, flying through an endless, starless night, searching for something without an idea of what it is, crying out its mournful song, but not realizing that it is destroying itself.
If you're not an abstract thinker, here's the concrete meaning of the previous analogy: A lonely creature of flame -- That's me. A creature of burning inspiration. Flying through an endless, starless night -- That's life. Life is full of pain and strife; thus, an endless, starless night. Searching for something without an idea of what it is -- That would be... hmm, what was it again? Just that feeling of needing something without knowing exactly what it is. Crying out its mournful song -- This is referring to my deep, almost spiritual connection to music. Not realizing it is destroying itself -- As you go through life, searching for that inexplicable something, you only hurt yourself. And eventually, you lose yourself.
