Short Stories: LEAVE ME ALONE! (Short Story)

The voices rang throughout her head again.
"They hate you!" "You're disgusting!" "Stay away, freak!"
They hurt Violet more than words could describe.
If she didn't do anything, the darkness would seep into her arms once again, leaving the long scars again.
Violet rubbed her arms sadly, sitting down on her bed as the darkness gathered around her.
She sat there, the darkness ready to pour into her once again, until a bit of light pierced the room.
Violet picked up her laptop, looking at the small message on her latest piece of artwork.
"I love your new style!" One read.
A small smile crept across Violet's mouth.
"Your art is so good!" Another comment told her.
The darkness began to creep away.
"We love you. You're a amazing person!"
The darkness flooded out of her room once and for all.
