Chapter 24: “the Xeno restriction and protocols”
As from chapter 23 all about how a Xeno shall address mist ninja or people from the mist, it bleeds into this chapter greatly. If you are a Xeno reading this book, pay close attention to this chapter as it greatly impacts your interactions as well as your daily lives. We shall be covered the rules and conduct of Xenos and mist ninja not only interacting with one another, but the common curtesy an manner that should be presented on both sides. This is probably the most important chapter in this book, I cannot stress that enough. We shall get started with the golden rules.
1.
A mist ninja must never be disrespected or insulted by a Xeno. Doing so frees the mist ninja in question to enact the right of retribution. (See page 32)
2.
A Xeno must never accuse a Mist citizen or mist ninja of betraying their family. To make such an accusation frees the mist ninja or citizen to enact the right of retribution. (see page 32)
3.
A mist ninja must never attack for no reason at all. As attacking unprovoked would not be under the right of retribution, resulting in a disgraceful act that could damage their name.
4.
It is considered rude to refuse an invitation from a mist citizen or ninja, and is considered taboo to do so.
5.
A servant to a mist ninja has forfeited any right, including the right to live, which may be taken as the owner sees fit.
6.
It is considered a compliment for a hunter-nin (see page: 273) to take off his/her mask to a Xeno. This is one of the highest honors one may receive.
•Exceptions: To show a soon to be killed the face of their killer.
7.
Mist ninja Sparing matches must never be lethal unless fighting for the right of retribution (see page 32.)
8.
A Xeno that approaches a mist ninja or citizen with a Mist berry wild fruit is considered a great compliment and show of respect, and to deny such an offer is only acceptable if the Xeno in question is of poor character.
9.
To swim in mist water for pleasure purposes uninvited is considered an insult to the mist and will mostly be treated as such.
10.
Poison is considered a weapon that a mist ninja would use when the target is unredeemable.
11.
To shed mist blood on foreign soil is considered a fatal mistake on whomever made the shedding possible, and mist suffer the right of retribution by any mist ninja in the surrounding area. (See page 32.)
12.
Flirting from mist ninja or citizen to Xenos or vice versa is strictly prohibited. To do so would result in the immediate exile of the Xeno involved and punishment (if neccicary) on behalf of the mist ninja or citizen.
•exceptions: if the one in violation does not know of this rule, one would immediately make them violate aware, and they would get away with it for one time.
13.
By no circumstance whatsoever may a Xeno be allowed to breed with a Mist citizen or ninja. The Xeno involved will be put to death on sight. The Mist citizen or ninja involved will have shame casted upon them for ten years following the animal affair. If there is a child involved it will be up to the Kage to kill or spare said child.
•exceptions: if the child has an excellent or foreign kekkei genkai then it is not to be put to death.
14.
A mist ninja that refuses to fight is not a ninja at all. All mist ninja are required combat training to an extensive level. If they do not acquire this training, they cannot advance to chunnin or above.
•exceptions: The mist ninja has shown promising skill that exceeds that of their level by a vast margin.
15.
Directly insulting a Kage to their face is considered horribly rude. If it’s a Xeno, the Kage has a right to kill them, same as their guards. If it is a mist ninja, they can still be punished but not by the death penalty. It is considered taboo however to take extreme measure when punishing a mist ninja for this affront.
•Exceptions: Heads of clans can get away with this.
16.
The most respectful way you can greet a village head or diplomat is by a long bow that arches your back, although bowing on one knee it’s accepted as well when in front of the Clan head. If a Xeno does not do this however it is not punishable. A mist ninja will be expected to know of such protocol.
17.
It is forbidden to teach Xenos any mist ninja techniques such as:
Water style
Hidden mist justu
Hiding in water justu
Or any other such unique Justus(page 62). To do so is an unwise move that will eventually be used against you.
18.
The only Xenos that should be treated as equals initially are the Xenos that originate from the senju clan. They bring life and peace in their wake, and put down evil. Many of senju had brought peace offerings and joy to the mist and must be payed by kindness in turn.
19.
To swear by your family is considered the strongest vow you could take. If one were to break this vow, weather Xeno or mist, shall be met with extreme prejudice.
20.
A servant may be made of a Xeno if they are tried and convicted of crimes against the mist, or attempted murder, however rare in recent days. If a servant is to be created this way, the victim (if alive) will become the owner.
21:
No Mist ninja must be left behind unless by their own will, or to sacrifice themselves for the better of the mist village.
22:
Certain bloodlines must be purged when you contact them, no questions. Such bloodline traits include: the Rinnegan, Dark Release, Absorbtion Release, and Any member of the Kurama Clan.
23:
If a Xeno takes their own life for the sake of a mist ninja, it is considered a great honor to bestow them and their close family as pure mist blood.
•Exceptions: If they have more than one family member of questionable character, this rule is void.
24:
If a Yuki Clan member were to shed a tear that crystallizes, it is considered to be an act of pure heartbreak, genuine. It is primarily associated with the death of a loved one, The faltering of a heart, or the soon death of a loved one.
25:
To serenade a Yuki Clan member with a song meant for their ears primarily is considered an act of generosity and respect.
26:
If a Senju Clan member offers one a rose, it is customary to give them a ice flutter lotus in response, something equally as enduring and beautiful. Vice versa
27:
Mist ninja are exceedingly more intelligence than Xeno kind, making it an act of either pity or kindness to teach of the ways of the mist. If it is rejected with vulgar words however, the Xeno may suffer from the right of retribution (see page 32.)
28:
To cleanse one of their most unearthly sins, weather for the Xeno removal ritual (see page 64) or the blood purification ritual (see page 93) one must first acquire the blood of the subject individual and the scatter them in a formation like the diagram(page 5). This is both symbolic and effective in removing the sins and misdeeds they have committed. Forgiving a mist ninja, admitting a Xeno to become a pure blooded mist ninja, and dozens of other reasons all tie in to this rule. Remember that.
29:
Drowning is considered a dishonorable death for a Mist citizen or ninja. To do so would dishonor your name for eternity.
Exception: dying drowning of a water style ninjutsu
30:
Marriage between other clans of the mist with each other must be greatly celebrated. Both of the clan heads must meet with one another and discuss the terms of their clans future, before they are drawn in an painting, signifying the event.
31:
If the Yuki Clan were to declare war personally, or on behalf of another, nothing less than the genocide of the race would be acceptable.
•Exceptions: if they have a potentially useful bloodline, or if ordered to disengage by the Mizukage.
32:
To use hidden [REDACTED] justu is strictlyprohibited. Any Yuki caught doing this illegal justu must immediately be brought to the clan head to be dealt with.
33:
If a Slave were to be released by their master,they have the potential to become of pure blood, if it were their choice.
•Exceptions: invalid if banished.
34:
An honorable way of suicide after you have lost your mate is to freeze your heart. To do so will give a poetic meaning upon your death and will grace your death with the blessings of the clan head.
35:
If a clan head were challenged by anyonewhatsoever, beheading would be the price. Would stand as a testament to not challenge the head of the clan unless you wish to lose your own head.

For a Yuki to have pure white hair of color is taboo, said to have roots in the ancient temptress of old, Haiahu, who dragged a root of the Yuki into ruin with sinful ways of witchcraft and playing with the dead.
37:
When a mist ninja is invited for dinner, it iscustomary that they bring a fish, as to bring their share to the table. To do otherwise would seem ungrateful.

If one were to throw a weapon at the feet of a Xeno, it is not only a way of showing distrust, but also a challenge of authority.
39:
For a Yuki to give a Xeno an compliment, an objective, or a gift is considered well earned, and usually spawns a bountiful friendship.
40:
No one is to speak of the catalyst. The fall of the seven the evening of the fateful day were taken out by the Mizukage, no one else.

Black water is to be avoided on sight. Do not investigate. No questions

If pure mist blood is spilled for someone a Mist Ninja or citizen cherishes in a romantic manor, is is considered an astounding display. Putting the index finger in the wound and drawing a line down the center of the face stands for resolve for this action.

To deny the ways of the mist is to deny your heritage. If one were to leave the mist and embrace the Xeno ways, the violator must be brought back to the village and re-educated.
46:
To hold out your fist to a Yuki’s honor Guard is to show a act of gratitude for what they represent.
Exception: if it makes physical contact with them. If a Xeno does this, they may suffer from the right of retribution (see page 32.)
47:
To put a rotten fruit outside one’s doorstep is to say ‘Rot in hell’ or ‘you will join the dead’. Often meant as a death threat. If returned to this threat by writing in kanji in the fruit, it’s an accepted challenge to fight to the death to whomever had left the fruit.

Missing nin are to be treated as half Xeno. Not given the same rights as Pure bloods, but mustn’t be put down instantly for their crimes. If possible, have them stand trial. If not, treat as Xeno.
Exceptions: Rouge Swordsmen
49:
To defeat and enemy throughout, you must destroy their ideology. If one’s ideology falls, they have lost the true battle and are broken. When this occupies, a mist ninja must give a courtesy by handing them a knife to take their own life.
50:
To be named after a god is to be given a divine purpose, a purpose to be devoted to since before conception into the day you die. One must take heed of this purpose and see it through to the end.
