Jasper with her Shiny Blaziken May (hard to tell in art as Shiny Blaziken looks a lot like the normal one). May was born in the wild as a shiny torchic thankfully her parents loved her despite her genetic abnormality but sadly due to this May was hunted and eventually caught by hunters who intended to auction her off to corrupt trainers. the cops managed to stop the illegal bidding May was taken away eventually given to Professor birch for protection one day Birch was saved from an enraged poochyena by a young Jasper. seeing Jasper's strength and loyalty to her Pokemon Birch gave jasper the young Torchic trusting that Jasper would see the chick Pokemon as more then just a shiny trophy. Jasper Named her new partner May, May didn't know what to think of her new trainer at first believing Jasper to be weak and that the young child would never be able to bring out her true power but over time May realized Jasper was much more then one would assume soon evolving in to combusken then to Blaziken as a thanks to Jasper for all their hard work May began to teach Jasper marshal-arts and how to fight like a Pokemon. although Jasper owns a Blazikenite May typically refuses to use it due to her thinking she's strong enough with out it instead using a firium z to charge her powerful blaze kick.
