Pokemon Classified Content: Gym Leader Manuel and Trainer Jaden

I know I haven't posted in a long while, but I just wanted to post a couple pictures from a little project I've been working on. Though I'm not able to make my own game, I'm challenging myself to make full art and models for the main characters, villains, and Gym Leaders, Elite Fours, and Champion. I've only gotten this and one other gym leader somewhat close to being finished, but they both need more work. This game's protagonist, region shape and evil team are based off of my previous Fakemon game idea, Pokemon Achriote, but they are all majorly improved in quality and I actually have a story that involves Team Abyss in a very interesting way.

This is progress on my OC protagonist and 1 of 8 Gym Leaders for my (personal) Pokemon fan-game idea called Pokemon Classified, based around the Eleos region. So far they are coming along nicely, but I still need to touch up on both Jaden's and Manuel's portrait sprites in some places, create their battle sprites, and make all the other overworld sprites (i.e. side view, running pose, bike pose, etc).

Manuel is the 3rd Gym Leader you face on your journey, and he is a blind psychic. Since gyms here on Eleos function differently compared to traditional gyms, Manuel will have Pokemon based around meditation and supernatural powers. What I mean by "differently" is that the Gyms, Elite Four and Champion are composed of the region's top 13 Trainers, so instead of having type-specific gyms, these trainers will have personalized teams with Pokemon they had while on their journeys. So with all trainers having teams of six, there's no telling what Pokemon they will have beforehand.

I am currently working on concepts for the female protagonist named Cassidy, but due to my struggle with drawing humanoid figures, she will take a while. I will be sure to post updates once these get done.
