After a small journey from town to town, you finally get to face the renowned steel-type gym leader, Sierra Synes!
While she is known as a steel type specialist, her entire team does not solely center around the type. In fact, her parter is her trusty Garchomp instead.
When she was born, her mother died in child birth, leaving her father, Cooper, to grieve. Sierra and her sibling formed a special bond as they took care of each other.
Her most noticeable feature is her fluffy white hair, an anomaly in her genetics.
You may have noticed her pendant.. As Sierra has the power of the powerful pokemon Dialga on her side, her pendant is a mysterious object known as a time gear. Its power is fairly unknown, even to her.
As a person, Sierra is independent and a little quiet, but kind hearted deep down. She is a powerful trainer, and worthy of her title as the Guardian of the Mind.
If you can beat her, she will give you the Clockwork Badge, and a TM for Steel Wing.
Sierra tells you that she will escort you to the next Guardian, and the most powerful of the quartet.
