ASSAULT!!: Graystripe VS Poochyena (Warriors VS Pokemon) | ASSAULT!!

ASSAULT!!
There are the colors of color, like red or green. And usually, they're just average animals. But these two war animals would like to have a chat with you.
SELECT YOUR FIGHTER
P1> GRAYSTRIPE, THUNDERCLAN'S JOKER
P2> POOCHYENA, IN ALL ITS EVILNESS

For this fight, Graystripe will be a warrior and not anything else, because his warrior self is canon.
He's DopeLeafeon and I'm Rotom!
And we've hidden traps and weapons throughout the arena...but who will win The Assault?
ASSAULT!!
When it comes to evil Pokemon, there isn't much to work with.
Sure, there's the classic evil team, which has evolved over the years.
Unless you're Game Freak trying to attempt how gangsters talk and move. *cough cough* TEAM SKULL *cough *cough*.
Since the beginning, there has been Zubat and Rattata for shadies.
But throughout every generation introduced a new evil non-legendary Pokemon. And then, the Hoenn region was discovered.
Brendan and May began their new adventure together, and the first Pokemon they had ever experienced, was none other than the good ol' original: Poochyena. Also known as the Bite Pokemon. Pure Dark-Type by the way.
Brendan was tasked with choosing one of three starter Pokemon: Mudkip, Torchic, or girl-stealing Treecko. None of you except for maybe @Splashfur got that one.
Sadly...it was only a Level 2 Poochyena.
At least the leaders of both Team Magma and Team Aqua took ownership of one, and if became the classic use of an evil Pokemon. Gaining its even more evil form: Mightyena.
Don't be mistaken though. It's still pretty weak.
WEAK?! Are you kidding?! This thing is so EVIL, it eats ANYTHING it finds! You come by a Poochyena? Dead. Come by a Mightyena...you know your life is about to end.
Not to mention its impressive sense of smell! Poochyena can smell things from far away, and will chase it down until it is fed with what it wants.
That being said, Poochyena usually hunt in packs, meaning it hasn't adapted to being alone in the wild.
To have it not be a starter, it has not-so-good stats.
Attack at 55, HP, Defense, and Speed at 35, and Special Attack and Special Defense at 30. But hey, that doesn't bother it. Pokemon like Poochyena have had the guts to go it alone and attack Professor Birch, and even sometimes feel love toward its master.
Poochyena is weak to Fighting-, Bug-, and Fairy-Type moves. Luckily, it's full-on IMMUNE to Psychic-Type attacks, resistant against Ghost- and Dark-Type moves, and...yeah, that's it.
Poochyena can tackle its opponents with...well...Tackle, raise its Attack with Howl, blind the opponent with Sand Attack, pierce the opponent with Bite, pinpoint his target with Odor Sleuth, and force his opponent to flee with Roar.
But in conclusion, Poochyena's bark hurts just as much as its bite.
(Ash opens his Pokedex)
Poochyena, the Bite Pokemon. Poochyena is the pre-evolved form of Mightyena. Its biting strength is superior to other Pokemon, and has the endurance to chase opponents down until completely exhausted.
ASSAULT!!
Let's enter the world of Warriors.
Where cats take over and when Twolegs THINK they rule it...the Warrior cats are always there to prove they're not the only ones in the forest.
And those cats weren't, too. Even before then, there was a now legendary clan called LionClan.
LionClan had...well...lions.
Same Family, everyone.
Those lions gave birth to these cats. Trust me, I'm not lion.
Ugh. And so began a legend. These cats were cold to the bone, but they always shared the forest.
But that got kinda boring, so they divided the forest up into four parts!
ShadowClan had the guts and merciless...ness more than any other clan, WindClan and RiverClan were equally matched in strength, and ThunderClan was the most balanced out of the four.
And then Graypaw was born.
Graypaw was a hardworking apprentice of Lionheart, but he was missing someone...
A best friend, one of the most cliche things.
Until he had a fight with a kittypet named Rusty! This brought attention to ThunderClan's leader, Bluestar, and his master, Lionheart, who both accepted Rusty into his clan, giving his name: Firepaw.
But we're not here to talk about Fireheart!
Unfortunately, a thing happened.
Lionheart died :p
Having a death so soon, Bluestar made Tigerclaw the new deputy...
Rocket Raccoon: Nuh-uh, bad idea!
Moons later, (FINALLY I'M USING A WARRIORS TERM!!!!!!) Fireheart and Graystripe were tasked with care taking one of Frostfur's new kits. One one a Tom, one was a She-cat. Graystripe had the tom, and his new name was Brackenpaw.
Brackenpaw can help out Graystripe in any situation, but then again, he IS still just an apprentice.
Speaking of weaknesses, Graystripe never backs down from a fight, but that could lead to his cockiness and sort-of greediness.
One time, Graystripe saw a vole. With his eyes locked onto it, he scampered onto THIN ICE and ALMOST DROWNED.
Ah, Silverstream, what would Graystripe be without you?
A Juliet without a Romeo.
Did somebody order a ship?
I sure did.
Me too!
Graystripe is capable of training two apprentices at once, ran through a thunderstorm in a forest no problem, snuck out of camp boundaries unnoticed, and even helped run out Brokenstar, the aggressive leader of ShadowClan.
Graystripe may be the Ron Weasley or Tails the Fox of Warriors, but he can go on his own adventures if he wants.
ASSAULT!!

Alrighty, both characters have been researched, it's time to prepare for THE ASSAULT!! HERE WE GOOOOOOOOO!
ASSAULT!!
Fireheart and Graystripe ran through the forest of palm trees. "This place is giving me the creeps!" mewed Fireheart. "And why is it so hot?" asked Cinderpaw. "That doesn't matter. I'm picking up the scent of Ravenpaw now!" Graystripe narrowed his eyes. Fireheart, Graystripe, Cinderpaw, and Brackenpaw jumped through the bushes like the badasses they are. They also came face-to-face with a Poochyena. "Oh no! They must be the hostile natives Bluestar was telling us about! What do we do?" asked Fireheart. Graystripe hesitated. "Go." he mewed. Fireheart's eyes narrowed. "Pardon?" he asked. "Find Ravenpaw before Tigerclaw does! Brackenpaw and I will take care of it!" he hissed. "Uh, r-right. See ya later, bud." Fireheart, his souls plopped down to leave his friend in danger, ran to the left of where they were and dashed away. Cinderpaw, being a little overwhelmed by the happenings, jumped behind her into the bushes so she could stay safe. "Let's get this done then."
Poochyena growled as another Poochyena walked out of the bushes. Graystripe smirked. He looked behind him and nodded. Brackenpaw nodded back. Both sides charged at each other.
Triumph or die!
Graystripe and Poochyena leap at each other.
FIGHT!
Graystripe quickly landed, making Poochyena hit the ground hard. Poochyena used Howl to raise its attack, then charged up a Tackle. Graystripe, noticing the position, quickly ran forward and slashed right across the face. Poochyena whined, letting Graystripe know he found a weak spot. Graystripe slashed across the face with the other paw, up and down super quickly multiple times, and finished off the combo with a swift headbutt, knocking Poochyena into a tree. Seeing Graystripe charge after him, Poochyena used another Howl to raise his Attack, then charged at Graystripe, using Tackle. Not knowing this, Graystripe was hit hard, yowling afterwards. Poochyena then Bites Graystripe's leg, spins around, and throws him against another tree. Shortly followed by a Tackle. Graystripe yowled again. But this time, he was serious. Poochyena tried another Tackle, but Graystripe moved out of the way, headbutted him, throwing him to the ground, and scratched him up like he was slicing fresh-kill. Poochyena quickly got up, and they continued fighting.
Meanwhile, Brackenpaw was losing the fight, dodging a few blows but taking some too. Poochyena roared and swiftly charged at Brackenpaw.
DopeLeafeon puts the cap on the camera.
Graystripe finds and opening and takes it. He bites Poochyena's leg, making him trip. Then he slashed across the face so many times Poochyena's eyes start to bleed. Refusing to die to a cat, Poochyena gets up with his last breath and Tackles Graystripe. I wise decision, but to no avail. Graystripe headbutts him again, and slashes across the face for the finishing blow.
Poochyena's body motionlessly hits the ground.

KO
Graystripe sits at Brackenpaw's corpse.
YEAH! GRAYSTRIPE IS THE KNIIIIIIIIIIGHT OF THE WIND!
Poochyena may be more aggressive, but Graystripe is more tactical and has more experience in fighting. Plus, Poochyena is blinded by its power, and most of its power just come from being scary.
The only cat we can compare Poochyena with is Brokenstar, who Graystripe was capable of defeating.
This means Graystripe can defeat Poochyena no problem, proving he has defeated cats like Poochyena.
Poochyena was the real gray stripe in this fight.
The winner is Graystripe.
ASSAULT!!

NEXT TIME ON ASSAULT...
What a great Season One.
I guess I'll have to end it with a bang.
What about a requested Assault?
Good idea! (checks suggestion bin)
There's...only one...
Please don't be an anime character, please don't be an anime character...
BENDY V CUPHEAD
...I can live with that.

Yeah, I had a feeling about this. And there's kinda a reason I said this next battle was something I was never going to put in Clash of Code. But hey, if you want to do it, it's your funeral.
Anyways, this was a pretty great battle! Perhaps tag me in your future ones?

To be honest, I knew Graystripe was going to win.

But next fight, I do not know Bendy and the Ink Machine, or Cuphead so I can’t really predict.

And yes, @Mewtwofan259: If you absolutely must link an image, link to the source of the image as posted by the original artist. Proper attribution gets the artist more views and support. Reposting their images without permission does not, and is generally considered a dick move, tbh.
