Pokemon Black, Pokemon White, Pokemon Black 2, and Pokemon White 2 are probably one of the best Pokemon games ever.
And I'm sure many agree.
I can definitely tell @Mewtwofan259 agrees, he just made a Death Battle about Zekrom and Reshiram.
I don't know why he likes it, but back to me.
I LOVE the story.
Imagine.
Every Paper Mario game combined.
That's what this game is.
Game Freak knows that they're not doing as good as they were back in the day.
And when they released Black and White, they were taking a step in the right direction.
People always accuse Black and White for having a racist title or having Pokemon that have no creativity put into them, that all the budget went into the story.
First of all, I made that first one up.
Second of all, even if the budget WAS put into the story, the story kicks ass.
And third of all, only Game Freak can come up with a creature based off of an ice cream cone or a trash can.
If we keep having franchises like Yu-Gi-Oh cut into Pokemon, we could have a problem.
What everyone wants from Pokemon is Lucarios. Lucarios everywhere.
People may think that putting in Vanilluxe or Garbodor or Chandelure may be lazy, but a lot of thought is put into them.
The community made an Alolan Form for Vanilluxe. It's like chocolate and strawberry ice cream.
And Garbodor is part of the pollution trio. Muk and Grimer make up water pollution, Koffing and Weezing make up air pollution, and Trubbish and Garbodor make up land pollution.
A really nice touch in my opinion.
Then there's Chandelure.
Well, Chandelure is supposed to be one of those Pokemon who hang out in a mansion.
It's not a chandelier.
It's a ghost that possessed a chandelier.
Next is the story.
The core concept of the games.
In the game, we follow the player, Bianca, and Cheren as they journey through the Unova region.
But what I really like about this is that it has a lot of influence from Team Plasma.
At the end of the game, you come against Alder, the champion of the Unova region.
But...he's with N.
Now lemme back up a bit.
N is a mysterious man that can talk to Pokemon and has green hair and a ponytail.
Okay.
Back to story.
N beat Alder, but Alder refuses to give him the title.
But it turns out, N is working for Team Plasma.
Obviously.
A castle arises.
And you are tasked with stopping Team Plasma.
Do some snooping around, and you come across Ghetsis and his team.
The battle wasn't that hard for me, but beat him and you come to the end of the game.
N realizes what destruction he's caused on the world.
And because he'll never forgive himself, he rides with Reshiram to hide away.
N has probably the most character development in a Pokemon game, he's right up there with Lillie.
But there's other examples.
Terra from Teen Titans.
Koops from Paper Mario.
Character development is what makes something great.
N is not, by any means, a bad person.
He's just misguided.
Because he's just a Zoroark adapting to the human world.
Ghetsis is just manipulating him.
And then...there's the sequels.
Team Plasma returns, with a much better plan.
Freeze Unova.
With the power of Kyurem.
And...for some reason...THEY BLOCKED OFF ROUTE 10.
But this isn't about Route 10.
What makes this sad is the fact that N's Castle is still there.
You follow a Zoroark into a cavern.
And discover...N is still there.
Of course.
He didn't actually escape.
He waited until everyone abandoned the castle.
And he lived there.
Everything is buried.
Everything is ruined.
It makes you feel bad for him.
And you can legit go into N's Room.
And here's my theory.
N is actually a Zoroark (Zorua at the time) who turned into a kid and was forced by Team Plasma to work for them, and their leader Ghetsis tells him the world is mean to Pokemon. That convinces him to join them.
And N doesn't realize what he's done until the one he followed got arrested.
And that's called character development.
Honestly, I see no flaws with these games.
So I give it a 10/10.
Period.
This is being the dopest of Leafeon!
And I hope you all have a fabulous day!
