    @DerpyLucario the color schemes are based off of the colors on the Pokemon itself, like how the original versions of these cards were (take a look at the trainer card maker and you'll notice that pattern as well for those gradient cards under the tag Pokemon Games).

    Can't wait for them to update the Trainer Card Maker...
    BTW, How about you change Xerneas' background to pink(since It's a fairy type), and greninja's(or chesnaught's, or delphox's) background to be blue, and black(since its types are water and dark)
