I remember like it was yesterday, well, it was yesterday, when it happened. The moment I stepped into homeroom, the teacher, Mrs. Cransin, announced the principal had called a group of kids that had been suspects of the other days' incident. And, just as I suspected, I was one of them. I didn't do anything, I was just a witness. It was a group of kids and I, going to the office. He called us one by one, then it was me. The first thing he said, no "Hello" or "Good day", just "Sit down Ms. Coalheart", with a stern voice. "I am aware you are a witness. Now, tell me what happened in the locker room." It was a long silence before I said my answer."A girl had punched another in the throat, and she fainted. That's when the one who punched her ran away." And there was the silence again. "I see. And do you know the victim?", he said. " "No sir, I only see her sometimes, but I'm not an acquaintance," I replied. "I see", the principal said. He looked like he wanted more than that type of answer, but that's all I knew. "Thank you for your time", he said quickly, and sent us back to our homeroom. While walking back to class, I examined the kids that been sent to thprincipal's office too. I didn't know any of them, and only one of them was in the locker room. It was this girl by the name of Lilly Missor, who doesn't talk much, but the only reason I know her name because she goes to the same orphanage I do. After school, I ran to the old orphanage, that I've been in for as long as I can remember. I lost hope if someone would adopt me or not, but, whatever. The owner of the orphanage is this old lady who uses all us girls for cleaning. She hates me apparently, because I defended myself and others. I walked up the steps as fast as I could, so I can see what the principal told this girl. I got inside, and nobody was cleaning or anything. "Guess it's break time", I whispered to myself. I got to the second floor, were all the girls stay, and nobody was there, only Lilly, sitting on her bed starring at the window. I went up to her and asked her where's everyone. "Gone.",she whispered faintly. "What do you mean,Gone!?", I yelled worriedly. "They left without us, they left to London.", she replied. "Without US?!" I beamed. "They never cared about us, remember?", she replied softly. A silence came again. It was true, this orphanage is old, almost falling apart. No wonder they left. But why would they leave without us, even though she doesn't like us. I forgot to ask her about the incident, because I was too busy looking around the orphanage. She followed me, wherever I went. Then, I went to the Old hag's room, to where we saw blank papers all over the floor, and red liquid on the walls. Thank goodness it wasn't blood, but accidentally we both slipped on it, and it happened.~
