Hm well I mean I know what it is and what it does, actually. There is a settings option that has a a meter for "pen firmness" and assumed that had something to do with it but I guess not haha

My strokes do get darker the harder I press down, but the thickness doesn't seem to vary, I'll have to see if I can fix that~

@SkySilvally Pen pressure isn't really a matter of firmness. It basically lets you adjust the size and opacity of your brush stroke with having to change those settings manually by varying how hard you press your pen into the tablet when you're drawing, which simulates how you'd naturally draw on paper. The effects kind of look like this. All of these were done using the same sized brush, only difference is on the left I've turned my pen pressure off, and suddenly I can't achieve any variety in my strokes at all, which makes things like shading and nice linework infinitely harder to do. If that's something you'd be interested in have a look at this as it covers many of the reasons why it might not be working for your tablet. Hopefully that should help you out, but if you're still having trouble give me a yell, maybe I'll be able to help you.

I have it set on max firmness but I wasn't really sure what the best setting to have it on was lol

Looking at these you seem to not have your pens pressure sensitivity calibrated correctly. Trust me you want to do this, the effects are awesome. But anyway congrats on the tablet, have fun with it
