Before we start this, I would just like to say something. Today, August 3rd, is a little special to me. I joined Pokecharms August 3rd, 2014. Today is my 2 year anniversary and I'm proud to say it. Thank you, for continuing to support my work, now on to the battle!
Me: Legendary Pokémon have usually come in groups of 2 or 3, and this group of 2 may just be one of the most famous of the bunch. Pain: Dialga, the ruler of time! Me: And Palkia, the ruler of space. Pain: He's Mewtwofan, and I'm Lord Of Pain! Me: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to figure out who would win, a Death Battle.
Pain: Dialga is a dark blue sauropod-like Pokémon with some gray metallic portions, such as its chestplate, which has a diamond in the center. It also has various light blue stripes. Me: It has a fin-like structure on its back and a crest on its head, resembling a dinosaur. Pain: Dialga also has two horns on top of its head, two fang-like horns around its mouth, and three spines on the back of its neck. Me: It has three claws on each foot of the same metallic looks as its chestplate. The wing-like structure on its back can be used to focus the flow of time. Pain: Dialga can warp time by either speeding it up, slowing it down, or stopping it altogether. As Dialga primarily resides in a different dimension, its behavior is nearly impossible to study. Me: It has been shown to be very protective of its home, it is the only known Pokémon who can learn Roar of Time. Pain: Along with that, it can also learn Ancient Power, Dragon Claw, and Dragon Pulse. His stats are also pretty good, with 90 in Speed, 100 in Sp. Defense and HP, 120 in Attack and Defense, and 150 in Sp. Attack. Me: He has the ability, Pressure, which raises the foes PP Usage. Over all, he's a very strong Pokémon, now let's move on to Pa... (Roar) Oh no... I almost forgot. If Dialga loses control over time, he will become outraged, and turn into the Primal Dialga... Pain: After losing control of its ability to manipulate time due to the collapse of the Temporal Tower, Dialga turns into it's Primal Form. In this form, it is also incapable of logical reasoning or showing mercy, only seeking self-preservation and preventing time from flowing properly. Me: He's still Dialga, but with added awesome. (Primal Dialga Roar)
Pain: Palkia... is a Water/Dragon type. WHY?! And Lugia is a Psychic/Flying type, WHY?! Did these 2 get their types swapped up during production?! And if so, why haven't they changed them?! Me: Anyway... Palkia is a light purple theropod-like Pokémon with stripes and markings of a darker shade and gray underarms and waist. Pain: It has round purple-striped plates on its shoulder area, where two pink pearls lie encrusted with a gray rim encircling them and fins in their back. Me: Palkia’s arms have extended formations resembling gauntlets and a purple band around each wrist. Palkia has a long neck, a pointed white crest on the top of its head that extends to its wings, two strong horn-like tusks on the sides of its jaw, and a powerful tail. Pain: Palkia travels by creating a large yellow sphere from its two pearls, then using it to fly very fast. Palkia has the ability to warp space, though it was said to create alternate realities as well. Me: It has been known to be very protective of its home as well. Palkia is the only known Pokemon that can learn Spacial Rend. He can also learn Aura Sphere, Power Gem, and Hydro Pump. Pain: Along with Dialga, he also has Pressure, and his stats aren't so bad. 90 in HP, 100 in Speed and Defense, 120 in Sp. Defense and Attack, and 150 in Sp. Attack. Me: But Palkia has one more trick up his sleeve, it has been shown, that he has the ability to invert the world for about 10 seconds! But yeah, type still doesn't make sense. (Palkia Roar)
Me: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all! Pain: It's time for a Death Battle!
(Darkrai is in the Distortion World, looking at the Giratina Skeleton.)
(He creates a portal and flies into it, ending up in Alamos Town.)
(He sees the thing in the sky again, he knows what it is.)
(Darkrai goes back into the Distortion World and calls upon Dialga.)
Darkrai: It seems, as if he has returned. I will get everyone into here, you deal with him.
(Darkrai evacuates everyone into the Distortion World, so Dialga is the only one there.)
(Palkia comes down from the sky and lands infront of Dialga)
FIGHT!
(Palkia roars and uses Aura Sphere, knocking Dialga against a building)
(He gets up and uses Dragon Pulse, knocking Palkia backwards)
Palkia: It seems as if you've gotten some new moves!
(He uses Hydro Pump, which hits Dialga in the face, not doing much, but stunning him)
(Dialga uses Ancient Power, rocks smacking into Palkia's Pink Pearls)
(Palkia smirks and uses Power Gem, which cause Dialga to trip)
(He gets back up and uses Dragon Claw, leaving faint Scratch marks on Palkia)
Palkia: Alright, I've had enough of this!
(Palkia charges Spacial Rend, and unleashes it on Dialga, sending him through the air)
Dialga: I won't go down that easy!
(Dialga jumps towards Palkia, and uses Roar of Time, knocking Palkia onto his knees)
(Palkia growls and inverts Alamos City, leaving Dialga unable to walk)
(Dialga must recharge, so Palkia uses Aura Sphere, knocking Dialga into Temporal Tower, causing it to collapse)
(The world turns back to normal, Dialga is lying on the ground, and Palkia is laughing)
Dialga: It seems... as if I've underestimated you...
(Dialga stands up and roars louder than he's ever roared before)
(Red light emits from Dialga's body, and he turns into Primal Dialga)
(Palkia steps back in fear, but Primal Dialga rushes forward and uses Dragon Claw)
(Palkia grunts and uses Hydro Pump, knocking Primal Dialga off to the side)
(He laughs and uses Ancient Power, knocking Palkia into a building)
(Palkia yells and uses a powerful Aura Sphere, knocking Primal Dialga down)
Primal Dialga: I will not be taken down by the likes of you!
(He uses Dragon Pulse, knocking Palkia onto his knees again)
(Palkia pants and uses Power Gem, knocking one of the Metal Plates off of Primal Dialga)
(Primal Dialga scowls and uses Roar of Time, knocking Palkia onto his back)
(Palkia gets on one knee and uses Spacial Rend)
(When the smoke clears, Primal Dialga is standing there, laughing)
Palkia: O.K, we'll call it a draw.
(Primal Dialga uses Roar of Time causing Palkia's Pink pearls to break, killing him)
(Darkrai comes out of the Distortion World and fixes the tower, causing Primal Dialga to go back into his normal form)
(Dialga roars in victory)
K.O.
Pain: That should have been in Rise Of Darkrai! Me: Both Dialga and Palkia were strong, but only Dialga could take everything Palkia could throw at him, and more. Pain: Dialga had strong stats in everything except speed to counter Palkia's strong stats in everything but HP, and Palkia is weak to Dragon. Me: Dialga has plenty of Dragon moves, plus high Attack and Sp. Attack, as well as STAB. Pain: And while Palkia does have Aura Sphere, it's not STAB. But it looks like Palkia, spaced out. Me: The winner is Dialga.
