Legends tell of three legendary birds created by...ANOTHER bird.
Should we just name them? Or should we back up a bit?
Let's back up a bit.
Llama God Arceus created the sun.
A legendary bird called Ho-Oh is born within these flames, and creates three Pokemon:
Moltres, to represent the hot flames in which Ho-Oh was born in, Articuno, to represent the cold space in which Ho-Oh traveled in order to get to Earth, and Zapdos, to represent the thunder that the Earth welcomed Ho-Oh into. How rude!
3,000 years pass, and the three birds are fighting over territory.
With their power combined, any trainer or Pokemon stood no chance against stopping them.
That's when a bird awakened inside of the seas of Johto and stopped the three birds like it was the end of the world! Oh, wait...
To represent the two powerful legendaries that protect Johto, the people of said region built two towers to represent their heroism.
Centuries later, a man known as Lawrence III wanted to add the legendary Pokemon Lugia to his collection.
In order to do this, he triggered the legendary birds.

Like the prophecy stated, Lugia did in fact come and calm them down.
But he got injured in the process. He got unlucky that time.
But Lugia stayed strong, and calmed the three birds down and defeated Lawrence III.
What a badass! Lugia's lore is based off of being in the sea, but Lugia is actually a Psychic/Flying-Type.
Weird.
...and Palkia is a Water/Dragon-Type.
WEIRD!
Lugia has a wide moveset, but his most used moves include Aeroblast, Whirlpool, and Safeguard.
But he has plenty others. Sky Attack, Hydro Pump, Extrasensory, Dragon Rush, Punishment, Ancient Power, and Weather Ball.
There's bonus effects to some of them, too! Weather Ball changes type depending on what the weather is, Extrasensory, Aeroblast, and Sky Attack are all STAB moves!
And Lugia definitely has some above average stats. Special Defense at 154, Defense at 130, Speed at 110, HP at 106, and Attack and Special Attack at 90.
Lugia is definitely not a fighter.
Lugia is said that a simple flap of his wings can knock over houses.
The only wind speed that can match the power of Lugia's wing flap is the wind speed of a hurricane, meaning with a simple flap of his wings, Lugia can blow winds, AT MINIMUM, SEVENTY MILES PER HOUR. That's only a flap of his wings! Imagine what he can do when he actually TRIES!
Not only that, Lugia was chosen by Hoopa to aid them in a fight against EVERY LEGENDARY THERE EVER WAS, dodged attacks from Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, at the same time, and went through a stage of evolution no Pokemon ever wanted to.
Cypher is a Pokemon villain in greed for power. In the process of taking over the world, he copied the legendary Pokemon Lugia's DNA, and created his first shadow prototype: XD001.
XD001, also known as Shadow Lugia, is Lugia's alter-ego, and perhaps even more powerful than his true self.
Shadow Lugia is a being who cannot talk, and has a moveset no one knew existed. Shadow Blast, Shadow Down, Shadow Shed, and Shadow Storm. Each more powerful than the next.
But even Lugia has his flaws. In his normal form, he's not a fighter, and in his Shadow form, well, he is, but he's not smart either.
But overall, if someone for some reason decides to enrage the legendary birds, SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE.
Lugia: Disturb not the harmony of Fire, Ice, or Lightning lest these three titans wreck destruction upon the world in which they clash. Though the water's great guardian shall arise to quell the fighting alone its song will fail. Thus the Earth shall turn to ash. O, chosen one, into thine hands bring together all three. Long ago, there was a kingdom named Hoshido. A woman named Mikoto gave birth to a few children. Takumi, Hinoka, Ryoma, Sakura, and Corrin. Later, Corrin was kidnapped by an enemy kingdom, Nohr, striking a bloody war between them.
Nohr figured they might as well take care of Corrin, and told her that Nohr was their real family.
This war went on for years, and didn't stop until Corrin took action herself.
You see, Corrin was born sharing blood from ancient dragons, and when she's enraged, someone is going to die.
She almost killed Azura herself!
...that's not really an accomplishment.
But one thing's for sure: Corrin decides her own fate.
Which is literally the name of the game!
Corrin mainly wields the Yato, which gives +4 Attack if she strikes it once.
The Yato is his main source of power, and can kill most army soldiers in a single hit.
Yato also has an Omega Form, which has grinding gears that can stall when charging up a powerful attack.
Which can also hit multiple people in one horizontal strike.
But the main highlight of Corrin is her ability to turn into a dragon.
Controlled by the Dragonstone, Corrin can turn into a dragon capable of flight, headbashing, and just overall water awesomeness.
Her main move is Dragon Gaze, which grants +%30 Attack when used.
Corrin also wields the Bronze, Steel, and Silver Swords.
I hope she doesn't drink beer.
Demoman: (eye turns blue) (runs at BLU team with sword) AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Yeah...that wouldn't go well.
Corrin's also pacifist. She'll only fight if his opponents fight back.
When given the perfect chance to finish his enemy, she'll put his sword back and offer a hug. Well, no, not really, but...she'll spare them.
But when she gets lucky, she can unleash a SWEEEEEET~ Dragon Fang!
Dragon Fang is a combo of moves involving a dragon's claw, a water tornado...everything she can do, really.
Corrin's defeated the manipulative King of Nohr twice, a Shadow version of Takumi, a giant dragon, both Hoshido and Nohr armies, and she was a fighter is Smash. Cool, right?
Then she got married to Kaze! Or Ryoma...or Takumi...or Xander...or Leo...or Silas...Fire Emblem lore is weird.
Corrin: I have a family in Hoshido. I also have a family in Nohr. Even if I were to lose everything...even if they despise me...I can't choose to side with one against the other. I simply can't do that. I don't care if I lose everything. This is what I've decided.

Corrin and her party members stand behind her. "This is it, everyone! The final battle!" she yelled. "I never thought I'd do it beside a Hoshidan Prince," said Leo. "Couldn't have said it better myself," said Ryoma. Then they heard loud roars. "You will not win this day, beast!" said an echoing voice. There was a giant white bird-reptile with blue spikes on its back, shooting a laser beam at Anankos. "I didn't know dragons were capable of such heroism!" said Hinoka, astonished. Anankos fell off of the platform in which it was on. Lugia flapped its wings at sat down near Corrin's party. "Fear not, humans. For I have defeated the beast." Lugia closed his eyes. There was a brief moment of silence. "...we came all this way just for YOU to take all the credit?! A WASTE of my time!" yelled Xander, his horse running towards Lugia. Lugia simply flapped his wings, blowing Xander and his horse away. "Ungh!" Xander said, landing on the ground. "Oh, that wasn't so--" he was interrupted by his horse falling onto him. "Never mind..." said Xander's muffled voice. "Xander!" Corrin looked back. "Why, you, little--" Leo was interrupted by Corrin. "I'll handle him." said Corrin, gritting her teeth. "What mistake you have made, girl." Lugia raised his wings, and flapped them up, teleporting them to an island in the Johto region. Corrin drew her sword and Lugia's mouth glowed blue.

Corrin started the fight by running at Lugia, starting to slash right through him, but before she could get the chance, Lugia used Aeroblast on her, knocking her back. Corrin wasn't dead yet, obviously. Lugia used Hydro Pump on her, but Corrin rolled out of the way. How can I attack it? It's too big to attack generally, and it's too small to attack bit by bit... Corrin thought as she continued to either block or dodge attacks from Lugia. "I won't tolerate you hurting my friends!" yelled Corrin, starting to run towards Lugia. Corrin engaged, spun her sword, jumped, and sliced vertically downwards. Lugia blocked the attack with Safeguard. "Damn it!" said Corrin. "Your attacks stand no chance against the guardian of the sea!" clouds started to cover the sky. Suddenly, Kyogre came out of the water. Corrin's eyes widened. "Hey...I thought I was the guardian of the sea..." Kyogre sighed. A sweat drop appeared on Lugia's head. "Er, Kyogre, you're, uh, the, uh...more AGGRESSIVE version of me. Let's just say that, okay? Now, go back to sleep." explained Lugia. Kyogre twiddled his non-existing thumbs and dived back into the water. "Uh, where were we...oh yeah...YOUR LIFE!" Lugia performed an Extrasensory, making Corrin immovable. "What?! I...I can't move!" she said. "I can see that." said Lugia, throwing her into a tree. Corrin quickly got to her feet and ran towards Lugia. "No one gets away with hurting the ones I love!"
"And then, he said that I was aggressive..." said Kyogre. "I totally feel you. I got stomped on by a horse," replied Xander in his muffled voice. "I think it's sleeping on me."
"I've had enough!" said Corrin, starting to run at Lugia, preparing another attack. "This is simply too easy." said Lugia, using another Extrasensory, paralyzing Corrin. "You think you can defeat me?" he asked. "You're a worthy challenger, but to no avail."
Corrin eventually became enraged. "All who hurt my friends have breathed their last!" She yelled. "And YOU will soon join them!" Corrin starting morphing into a dragon. "EAT NIGHTMARES!" Corrin easily broke free and head-bashed Lugia into the water. Corrin's arms turned to claws and started to scratch up Lugia. After doing so, she turned back into a human, making her vulnerable. Lugia grabbed her body and flew upwards at high speeds. Being assaulted with air, Corrin slashed the hand in which she was in as hard as she could, making blood fly out. Lugia yowled in pain, as he dropped Corrin onto land. Corrin faceplanted to the floor, but she gathered her last bit of energy and got up. Then she heard a large explosion that made her ears ring. When Lugia flew back down, he had lost all reason. He was Shadow Lugia. But...he had a healing item in his hand. "This potion represents my mercy," he said, popping the cap open and pouring it into the sea. "I AM ALL OUT OF MERCY!" The clouds turned black and gray. Thunder and lightning boomed. Shadow Lugia used Shadow Storm, forming a shadowy cloud, making Corrin cough. Do it for my friends... she kept telling herself. "I'm not finished yet!" she grabbed her sword and dashed towards Shadow Lugia. But he couldn't care less, with a quick Shadow Blast, Corrin was knocked back so hard she broke through trees. Shadow Lugia following her and headbutted her so fast she stayed on his head for a while. Once Corrin did land on the ground, her chest and her mouth were bleeding. Shadow Lugia turned around to finish her off, but Corrin prepared her sword for another attack. Once Shadow Lugia was in range, Corrin went to the side and cut Shadow Lugia's arm off. Shadow Lugia wailed in agony. The volume was so high it knocked Corrin backa few feet. Then, she felt power within her. She felt herself shine. A streak of Corrin's face runs across the screen. "THIS! ENDS! NOW!" she yelled, while locking Shadow Lugia into an infinite circle of doom. Corrin slashed every last bit of him. Then, she morphed into a dragon and summoned a whirlpool. Once Shadow Lugia fell out of the whirlpool, Corrin turned her arms to spikes, and lashed out at Shadow Lugia, slicing right through him, then sliced horizontally both ways, splitting Shadow Lugia in half. Both parts fall to the floor. Corrin sheathes her sword in awesomeness.

This fight would've been handed to Lugia if Fire Emblem Fates Revelations didn't exist.
Anankos is a giant beats capable of destroying worlds, and Lugia is just another dragon for Corrin.
Making this fight happen, I knew Corrin would win from the start, with a few alternate forms (Shadow Lugia), and extremely OP moves (Shadow Moves) to even the battle out.
Sure, a flap of Lugia's wings can cause hurricanes, but surely, Corrin's been through much worse.
I mean, she can kill literally anything. With the help of a few others...but still.
Plus, Shadow Lugia makes Lugia lose all sense of reason, making him a fighter more than a defender and has no intellect when it comes to battling.

Shadow Lugia turned around to finish her off, but Corrin prepared her sword for another attack. Once Shadow Lugia was in range, Corrin went to the side and cut Shadow Lugia's arm off. Shadow Lugia wailed in agony. The volume was so high it knocked Corrin backa few feet. Then, she felt power within her. She felt herself shine. A streak of Corrin's face runs across the screen. "THIS! ENDS! NOW!" she yelled, while locking Shadow Lugia into an infinite circle of doom. Corrin slashed every last bit of him. Then, she morphed into a dragon and summoned a whirlpool. Once Shadow Lugia fell out of the whirlpool, Corrin turned her arms to spikes, and lashed out at Shadow Lugia, slicing right through him, then sliced horizontally both ways, splitting Shadow Lugia in half. Both parts fall to the floor. Corrin sheathes her sword in awesomeness.

This fight would've been handed to Lugia if Fire Emblem Fates Revelations didn't exist.
Anankos is a giant beats capable of destroying worlds, and Lugia is just another dragon for Corrin.
Making this fight happen, I knew Corrin would win from the start, with a few alternate forms (Shadow Lugia), and extremely OP moves (Shadow Moves) to even the battle out.
Sure, a flap of Lugia's wings can cause hurricanes, but surely, Corrin's been through much worse.
I mean, she can kill literally anything. With the help of a few others...but still.
Plus, Shadow Lugia makes Lugia lose all sense of reason, making him a fighter more than a defender and has no intellect when it comes to battling.
