Growing up, Babylon 5 was one of my favorite things ever, and it remains so to this day. Its brilliant cast of characters and excellent writing are mostly to thank for that - but even among all this awesome, few characters stand out over all the rest.
Commander Susan Ivanova, as portrayed by Claudia Christian, is first and foremost among them to me. There is not a single way in which Ivanova was not amazing - and as a tribute to her and the entire series, I decided to paint a portrait of her - complete with a saintly halo, as (like many other fans) I have taken the time to learn the Babylon 5 Mantra:
"Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova is God - And if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out!"
And I feel that speaks for itself.
