The brunette had turned to see Talli, a shocked look on her face, as she looked a bit nervous. It all happened so fast. The game would start in ten, the third player wasn't here, Bolin was silent for the strange look that Talli and the brunette gave each other, and the boy with the newspaper in hand rubbed his temples, as if to think he wasn't going to get himself caught up in this mess.
"You're the girl who framed me!" Talli shouted, as the brunette looked to the side, teeth together, trying to figure out what to say, until finally saying,
"Well I had to get out of it somehow!"
Talli looked shocked that the girl didn't lie, but didn't feel bad about expressing that she framed her. Bolin's cheeks puffed up as his eyes went large, and he started whistling, as if nothing happened. The boy with scruffy hair rubbed his temples harder, as to being annoyed, and Talli and the brunette just stared each other down, like as if they were on a hunt. Eventually, the game started, the third member arrived, ignoring the girls, and still furious at each other, Talli and the tan girl turned to watch the game, frowns on their faces. But as the game went on, Talli's frown disappeared, as the pro benders worked magic on the arena. Talli then had a fascination for being up there, and bending with the big boys. It made Talli smile, and she was so far into her daydream, that she didn't even realize that the match had been over.
"Okay, what the heck was all of that?" The scruffy haired boy said, as the third member left in some sort of hurry.
"I'm keeping this straight. I'm Talli." Talli said, as she pointed to the tan teenager, who then said,
"I'm Korra." With a some what smile like frown on her face, that Talli couldn't describe.
"Mako. And me and Bolin are brothers." The scruffy haired boy, apparently Mako, had said.
Then Talli explained.
"So, long story short, I was walking in Republic City, found Korra, helped the cops, she framed me, I went home, dad gave me money, came to a game, saw Korra, watched you play, and here we are." Talli said, as she took a breath to clear her lungs.
"Wow." Mako, Bolin, and Korra had said, turning to face Talli with wide eyed expressions.
Talli could hear the water from the stadium being drained, as Korra explained why she framed Talli, and ended up apologizing, in which Talli humbly accepted it, though still annoyed with her. Now, all so suddenly, after the whole stadium was empty, Korra had asked to be on the arena stage, which Bolin and Mako let her, smile on Bolin's face, but an "I hate my life" expression, on Mako's face. While Korra was dancing on stage, Talli was Airbending, like she promised her mother, pretending to be on the Fire ferrets team, the team that Mako and Bolin were on. But then, all so suddenly, Talli heard a screech come from the edge of the stadium. Korra was tumbling to the bottom, and there was no water to support her. Without thinking, Talli immediately Waterbended the bottom, and Korra happily landed on it, breathing heavily that her life was saved, as she started swimming over to the edge. But she stopped, ubruptly, and Bolin and Mako also looked astonished.
"Hang on. You were just bending Air?" Korra said, surprised, as Mako and Bolin glanced at each other awkward. Talli cursed herself for letting this secret out.
"You can't be any one else..." Mako said, as he put his hands on his hips, shaking his head, a smirk on his face.
Talli nodded, as Bolin looked on in awe, and Korra looked up in jealousy.
"You're right..." she started, looking down, as her sort of curled side bang covered her eyes.
"I'm the Avatar."
