In the morning Mist awoke to laughs of demons. As her eyes adjusted to the light she realised she was tied up, along with Kaleigh, Green and Animagus. She nudged Green who awoke with a jolt causing Kaleigh to also awake. They looked just as confused as she did. She told Kary to wake Animagus, but she would not wake up. That moment Ael arrived saying “I had to drug her didn’t want her changing shape in order to escape”. Mist looked at Ael demanding to know where the others are. He said safe didn’t bother with them, as he only want females. Green gave him a disgusted look, as she realised what he meant. “You lay so much as a finger on Kaleigh, I’ll kill you” she said. Ael said that he would see if she was able soon enough, as the others would never find them.
Zeon woke to the cries of shock from both Finn and Magnekite, and the barks from the dog, who Animagus had said was called Chuck. He stood up to see them standing over an unconscious Gunger. He asked them what had happened. Magnekite stated that it seemed that Gunger had been knocked out and all the girls had been taken. They woke up Gunger and Zeon said that they should check the CCTV camera as they probably still worked. They entered the security office and checked the footage. They saw Ael and his demons strike Gunger and then take the girls, to the store room.
They then proceeded to run to the storage room. As they burst in they saw Ael standing in front of two of his demons holding up a naked Green and Mist. Zeon saw them and was outraged and charged along with Gunger, Chuck and Magnekite. Ael ordered the demons to attack this meant they dropped the girls. As they charged, Magnekite created a giant crystalline axe and told the others to get the girls out. Gunger grabbed Green, Zeon grabbed Mist and they put Kaleigh on Chuck’s back. What they did not seem to notice was that Finn had gone after Ael as he had taken Animagus and run into a side room. As Magnekite was dispatching the final demon they heard a great crash and a loud roar, come from the side room. They ran into the room, leaving Gunger to look after Green and Mist, only to find Animagus sitting in the middle of a burning room, holding a lifeless Finn in her arms, he had a large scratch across his body. On closer inspection there was the mauled body of Ael in the corner. After Zeon doused the flames with ice they ran over to Animagus, who stated. “Ael took me into this room as there was another exit to the building in here. As he was about to open the door, I woke up and Finn burst in wielding his staff, Ael brushed the staff aside (she nodded towards the slightly burnt staff in the other corner), Ael then struck him in the chest with his claws, outraged I turned into a panther a killed him, a ran to grab Finn but during the fight Ael had set fire to the room, so we could not leave. This meant that Finn bled out in my arms”. When she was finished, Gunger ran in asking “did you find Finn?” he looked over Zeon’s shoulder only to see Animagus holding Finn’s lifeless body. At this Gunger legs gave way, but just before he hit the floor Green grabbed him. They sat there for a second with Gunger crying into her shoulder. Zeon said that they had to leave as they now had only four and a half days to get to Freak, with a 4 day journey. He said that they had better get ready there would be no stops.
