He grabbed his Fedora and raced downstairs. "Now where are you off to dressed like that, son?" his father teased, "I'm going to be just like Riolu and try and unlock the Aura!" he replied excitedly. "Well you had better hurry up your first class starts in about 20 minutes" his mother stated. Riku raced upstairs and tried to wake Riolu from his slumber but that was easier said than done. So he simply grabbed Riolu and barreled out the door towards the car with his sleepy friend in tow.

Once inside they saw a bunch of young trainers with Lucario, Riolu and a few trainers with Mienfoo and Mienshao. "Hey kid whats your name?" a tough looking kid thundered. He almost looked like his Mienfoo. "I'm Riku!" Riku bubbled. "I'm Rori Katsuma" the kid responded
"Wanna be training partners?"
"Sure"
"Are you strong?"
"I guess"
They both stared at each other blankly. A gong rang loudly giving them and their Pokemon a start.
"Alright kids, My name is Riley and i'm here to help you unlock the Aura power you all have" the teacher proclaimed. "Let's begin by meditating alright?"
"Go Riolu!" Riku shouted
"Iku! Mienfoo!" Rori shouted (Iku: Go)
Mienfoo used High Jump Kick, It landed squarely on Riolu's chest. "Rolu retaliate with Force Palm!" Riku shouted Riolu complied. "Mienfoo! Eariaruēsu!"(Ariel Ace). Rori screamed "Speak english during the fight dude" Riku said being quite annoyed. Riolu rushed in for a Brick Break but Mienfoo disappeared leaving only a cloud of dust! Riolu was hit from Behind with several swift kicks and punches. But then! "Riolu, get even with it!" Riolu locked onto Mienfoo and hit it with a powerful Retaliate attack causing Mienfoo to faint. "WINNER RRRRIKU AND RRRRRIOLU!!!"
"So how was your day, Riku?" his mother asked, "it was good mom," he proclaimed "I won my first Pokemon battle!"
