The knights, all ten of them, glared down at Pearpear, who simply stood there, glaring back, holding up her right hand at the knights, curling up her fingers a little.
The really awkward and tense silence was broken by a rough, high-pitched screech. The knights all turned around, but soon gave out some sighs and turned back to where Pearpear was standing. Keyword: was; she had left off to the side of the grounds and was squeezing in somewhere.
“Ahem... for the sake of her blatant disrespect, of which it should be clear that she is from Ara herself, and the traditional-” the knight with the accented womanly voice started to say.
“God, will you shut up about traditions for once?” Raphe interrupted, slapping the knight with the back of his hand, “Besides, we are not in Ara right now, so we should be following Meiyadaric traditions, understand, Oliver?”
“I was gonna say that sorta thing! If, ya’ know, she hadn’t disappeared.” I piped in, glad that the argument was done... for the moment.
“...?! God, how could I forget you were there the entire time?” Raphe glanced at me with some sorta amount of shock
“Ha, you are not as smart as all believe, then.” the seemingly talkative knight, Oliver, chuckled.
“Oh just shut up already.”
