Chapter 1: A New Beginning

It was an early summer morning pokemon champion Harvey has sent invitations to all houses across the region to see if anyone is up to the Job he wants people to do. That job is the gym challenge. At 9:35 on monday at my professor tayla's lab me and her shall be waiting for you to pick your starter pokemon that we are providing you with. Hurry though as we only have 24 pokemon. 8 fire 8 water and 8 grass. Young faith was old enough so she decided this be a perfect role for her. The day after (sunday) faith and her mum went shopping for pokeballs and potions to help her on her journey. She got a new out fit and her tires pumped up on her bike. Tomorrow was the day she starts her journey. Faith slept until 9:29. She had 6 minutes to get ready and get there. She grabbed her clothes and new vapour max trainers and slammed the door shut as she ran to the lab. Finally at 9:47 she arrived and only 3 pokemon were left 2 of with were grass and the other fire. Faith had the choice of a Charmander, a Rowlet and a Grookey. With passion in her eyes the young girl chose Grookey. The young girl was handed a pokedex and thew more balls. Faith was told by the undefeated champion Harvey to pick the ball Grookey shall have. The young girl scanned the many balls and picked a black one. It had golden details. Harvey told her that it was known as the luxury ball.

Faith took her Grookey home where she showed her mum her new pokemon. The girl put her pokedex and pokeballs she was given in her bag with her potion and other balls. Brushed her hair as she didn't have time in the morning, sneekily added a bit of makeup and ran downstairs. Both faith and her mum were crying as she said bye. Her and Grookey were off to explore the world.
