Two Pokemon games that people thought set the standard for future games.
In Emerald, Rayquaza floats down from the sky to stop the quarrel between Groudon and Kyogre.
In BW2, Ghetsis menacingly fuses Reshiram and Kyurem.
Both games...had a new champion.

Iris has more of a variety in her team, and she can beat Wallace's Water-Types.
But only with Hydreigon's Charge Beam and Lapras' Thunderbolt.
Even then, none of Wallace's moves are super effective against any of Iris' Pokemon.
Except for the fact that Wallace's Whiscash's Earthquake and Gyarados' Earthquake can be a real pain.
Iris still wins in my opinion.
Even if they are about the same level.
