Pokemon Emerald and Pokemon BW2.
Two Pokemon games that people thought set the standard for future games.
In Emerald, Rayquaza floats down from the sky to stop the quarrel between Groudon and Kyogre.
In BW2, Ghetsis menacingly fuses Reshiram and Kyurem.
Both games...had a new champion.
Behold, Iris and Wallace!
The daughter of a Gym Leader and the taker of Steven's position!
Onward!

There's Wallace's team.
It's filled to the brim with Water-Types, so if Iris has something Grass-Type or Water-Type, that should set the score.
Let's see.
IRIS

Druddigon
Level 53

And there's Iris' team.
Iris has more of a variety in her team, and she can beat Wallace's Water-Types.
But only with Hydreigon's Charge Beam and Lapras' Thunderbolt.
Even then, none of Wallace's moves are super effective against any of Iris' Pokemon.
Except for the fact that Wallace's Whiscash's Earthquake and Gyarados' Earthquake can be a real pain.
Iris still wins in my opinion.
Even if they are about the same level.
...alright, let's check out their shinies.
Iris wins. 2-0.
