Andrea is a friendly, creative and cheerful Trainer who once felt insecure. She can act violent, mean and cowardly, though the last habit is only done when something goes wrong while the others are only done in front of a villain. She, like her teammates and successors (whether by blood or not), is also afraid of losing her life to evil. As Glitter Pinkie, she is more elegant than her alter ego's past self.

Born in Viridian City, Andrea grew up unsure of her dreams. Her mother, Noreen, was nearly killed in a car accident, leaving her father, an artist called John, upset of the thought of her dying. However, she made it out alive after a week-long coma instead, leaving Andrea surprised while not knowing there is something that is inside and has not been unlocked.
Andrea attended school from the age of 5 to 8, but during her first day, an unknown Pokémon (or so they thought) attacks her class (at that time) and she and her best friends Kimberly Briton and Maya Fulton get hit by the attack. School was dropped out for a few weeks after the incident, and during this 'break', she realizes she wasn't attacked by a Pokémon, but rather a fairy animal.
At the age of seven, Andrea discovers the inner piece. The fairy animal had given her the power of the earth, and when a real monster attacks, she unleashed so much force that the school was accidentally destroyed, making it close down again. Upset, she chose not to talk to anyone, not even her family.
A year later, after finishing school. Andrea finally mellows down after developing an interest in Pokémon, letting her family move to Pallet Town, not far from Viridian. She already knew her best friends live there, but after meeting Blue Oak, who called her a coward, her mean side is revealed, only for her siblings to stop her. From that day onward, she chose to protect anyone she knows.
